A Beautiful Mess Messy Box Subscription Review – June 2015
Messy Box is a new scrapbooking subscription from A Beautiful Mess. I love my Happy Mail subscription, so I wanted to try this one out too. I have never scrapbooked, but I love their designs so much I figured I could use the items for something else if I didn’t take it up! (They also sell exclusive scrapbook booksand pages to go along with the sizes of items in this kit).
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Subscription Box: Messy Box
The Cost: $24.99 ($19.99 a box with an annual subscription)
The Products: Each box is filled with items to scrapbook with including paper and cards, stickers, embellishments, and special items. Each month is color-coordinated and comes with a different technique theme.
Ships to: US and International ($3 shipping fee per box for International subscribers).
3 9×12 papers
These sheets are a cardstock, and one-sided. I think the pink and black and white stripe one is my favorite!
Set of journal cards (6 3×4″ 6 4×6″ and 12 3×3″)
These cards are all reversible – so you have a lot of options to pick from.
9″ X 12″ Transparency Sheet
Here is a better look at the dance instruction transparency sheet:
circle cork stickers
colored enamel dot stickers
These sticker sets are adorable! I especially love the colors of the enamel dots – now I just have to figure out how I want to use them!
2 4×6 silkscreens
These silkscreens are pretty awesome – the non-grey part is a transparent mesh, so you can use them as stencil sticker. Check out the Scrapbook Sunday post from A Beautiful Mess to see it action!
And this box came with two tags as well!
Verdict: Based on the comments from some scrapbooking readers on my last Messy Box review, I’d say this box is worth the $25 a month cost if you’re excited about exclusive prints and designs from A Beautiful Mess. If you’re looking purely for scrapbooking materials, there are likely cheaper options.
Personally I love their prints and creative designs, so I enjoy this subscription box!
