GlossyBox Subscription Box Review – June 2015
GlossyBox is a monthly beauty subscription box. They have the best packaging in the business, their products are usually deluxe-size or full size, and the value is usually really good too. The only issue with this box seems to be the late shipping – I would recommend just keeping that in mind and setting your expectations accordingly if you sign up for this box.
GlossyBox sent us this box early for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara – .17 oz Value $14.50
I’m a big fan of this mascara – it adds a ton of volume without any clumping. (And I actually think I prefer mascara minis to full-size version – I never have to worry about them drying out!)
City Cosmetics City Lips in Tinsel Town – FULL SIZE! Value $40
FYI – The info card indicates that colors will vary with this lipgloss. The color is very sheer though – so I don’t think shades will matter too much with this item. The lip gloss is designed to help give your lips a plumper look. I tried it out and found the formula to be VERY shiny, a tad sticky (not enough to bother me though), and it has a little shimmer too.
The video on the City Lips site indicates that you’ll start seeing results in 10 minutes – but I ended up removing the gloss after a few minutes – I didn’t like the tingling feeling.
Etre Belle Cosmetics Aloe Vera Ultra Moisturizing Gel – FULL SIZE! Value $24.95
I was surprised to see that this is the full-size version. (It’s 1.36 oz). I personally prefer aloe products with very few ingredients, but I think adding aloe to a summer box is a great idea.
ORLY Nail Lacquer Mini in Oh Cabana Boy – Value $4
This is another “colors may vary” item. This shade is a hot pink shimmer. I like the ORLY formula (and I love nail polish minis) so I’m happy with this inclusion.
The Aloe Source Vitamin C Antioxidant Creme – .25 oz Value $10
This might be my favorite discovery in the. It’s a really refreshing face cream – the formula isn’t too thick or too thin. It absorbs well, and I really like the scent!
Verdict: This box has a retail value of about $93.50. That’s great for a GlossyBox! Even though the lip gloss wasn’t for me, I’ll use all the other products – I think my favorites are the Aloe Source Creme and the mascara.
