The Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is a monthly beauty and makeup subscription box. All of their products are vegan (and they tend to be natural, too). They also typically include a nice mix of full size and sample beauty items.
Vegan Cuts sends a single package to subscribers who get both the beauty and snack boxes. The beauty items are separated into a little bag. (If you do not get the snack box, I don’t think you get the little bag.)
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)
The Subscription Box: Vegan Cuts Beauty Box
The Cost: $19.95
The Products: Each box contains a mix of 4-7 full and sample size cruelty-free beauty must-haves, ranging from unique cosmetics to luxurious skincare. All items are void of icky, toxic ingredients and animal byproducts, so you can feel beautiful inside and out.
Ships to: US for free, Canada for $8, and worldwide for $15.

Pura Botanica Botanic Bath Infusion Rose Retreat bath salts (full size!) – Value $10
I love spa stuff and try to take a bath to relax at least once a week. I love that this is free of synthetic fragrances and dyes. The other cool thing is that it comes in a sachet like a tea bag, so all the salts can dissolve but so the flower petals can’t escape and get stuck in the plumbing.
Athar’a Moroccan Coffee eye cream (size unknown) – Value $12 (?)
This looks huge in the photo but it’s a deluxe sample. Although some MSA readers reported problems with theirs coming open or looking dried out, mine was OK. I tried it once and it absorbed fairly well, but this is the kind of thing I’ll have to use for awhile to see results. Luckily there is enough in the jar for me to do that! I am guessing this is about 0.25 ounces but that is really just eyeballing it so I could be off. Still, it’s a generous amount.
Pacifica Devoclean Lipstick in “XOX” (full size!) – Value $14
Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques natural eyeshadow in “morning dew” – Value $10?
I just realized I should’ve taken a photo with the lipstick cap off. Well, at least I remembered to swatch it so you can see that below. This has a subtle color that’s just a little redder than my natural lip color and it’s buildable for a little more intensity. I do find myself applying it often, however.
This eyeshadow is a pretty bold color for me! Sadly, although it was packaged well, mine arrived broken (see below). I couldn’t find single eyeshadows available on the Lauren Brooke site so I linked to some pressed eyeshadow duos up above and estimated the value.
Luckily, most of it remained inside the clamshell package so I think I’ll be able to re-press it. (Basically just spray with rubbing alcohol, then wrap a Kleenex around something about the same size as the eyeshadow pan and press down hard. Then let it dry.)
Here are swatches of the lipstick and eyeshadow. That’s the color I got with two swipes of the lipstick.
The box also came with a coupon for Athar’a and some more information on the pressed eyeshadows.
Verdict: I calculated a value of about $46 for this month’s Vegan Cuts Beauty Box. Granted, some of the sizes/values were estimates. Even so, I figure you’re getting about double your money’s worth, which I think is pretty good, since natural and vegan cosmetics are often more expensive. I will have to work myself up to using the eyeshadow (I tend to stick to neutrals) but I am using or will use everything else. I like the mix of skincare, color cosmetics, and bath/body items, as well.
