Plum Deluxe Oregon Breakfast Black Tea – 1 oz, value: $7
Plum Deluxe Afternoon High Tea White Tea – 1 oz, value: $7
I was excited when I saw a brand I’m familiar with in this box! I know Plum Deluxe from their own subscription service. I’ve found their teas to be flavorful and I’ve liked just about every one I’ve tried. These 1-oz tea packets make 15-20 cups and all of their teas are organic, fair-trade, and non-GMO. The ingredients listed for the breakfast tea are “Black Tea, Honeybush Tea, Orange Peels, Hazelnut Essence, Love, Gratitude” – a cute reminder to start your day with some good vibes! The white tea sounds really nice and fruity; its ingredients are White Peach Tea, Apricot Pieces, Marigold Petals, Pear Essence.
Bee Local Artisan Honey – 4 oz, value: $7
For some reason I love getting artisan honey in tea subscription boxes. I will never go back to the plastic bear from the store again! This honey just adds a little extra delicious flavor to tea, is raw, single-origin, and gently filtered to help keep it as good for you as possible.
McTavish Lavender Shortbread Minis – 4 oz, value: $3.50
Shortbread anything is usually a win for me. I wasn’t sure if I’d like the lavender in these, but they’re actually really good! They’re definitely best with a cup of tea, naturally, since it really compliments the lavender.
Flower Pot Floating Tea Infuser – value: $12?
I can’t find this infuser online, so I’m estimating the value from similar ones. I think this is really cute! Personally, I don’t prefer novelty tea infusers, but I have a friend who would absolutely love this.
The Verdict: Overall, I liked this month’s Tea Box Express. The value adds up to $36.50, which is a good value for this box. I know I’ll use everything but the infuser, which I know will be loved by a friend of mine, so it’s a win for me.
