Box of Happies Subscription Box Review – May 2015
Box of Happies is a subscription box that sends you handmade goods every month. If you love discovering new etsy designers, I recommend this box.
The Subscription Box: Box of Happies
The Cost: $24 plus $4.99 shipping
The Products: 3-5 Handmade goods.
Each box comes with a mini card detailing the items included.
Itty Bitty Bubbles & Co. Bubble Cup – 2 oz, value: $2.25
This bubble cup is actually like a solid bubble bath product. You scoop out half of the cup and lather it under the faucet as your bath fills. I feel like I prefer being able to add a product to the water and finish getting ready for the bath/relaxing as it fills, but this smells good and is made cruelty-free.
Itty Bitty Bubbles & Co. also included a coupon code – “Box OfHappy” for 10% off in their Etsy shop until June 2nd.
Box of Happies Tree of Life Embellished Wristlet – value: $8
I love this wristlet! It feels well made, and I love the gradient color detail on the zipper – it fades from silver to pink and yellow.
What a cool idea for jewelry! Personally, I love floral patterns, and reusing vintage wallpaper is a really cool idea. Also, scrolling through their other necklaces and items, I think they’re all beautiful.
Box of Happies Spinning Gem Ring – value: $8
The gem on this ring spins like a wheel. It’s cute, but not my style – this will be getting passed along to my little-sister-in-law!
Verdict: This month’s Box of Happies has a value of $42.25, which I’m happy with. Even though I’ll probably end up gifting or swapping the bubble bar and ring, I still get a good value from the jewelry and clutch, and I found out about a new independent artist I never would have found on my own!
