Artistry Gifts just launched a monthly theme box! Up until recently, they only offered a gift wrap subscription. Their monthly theme box features lifestyle items such as candles, jewelry, snacks, stationery, spa items, home items, and occasional holiday items. They still offer their monthly gift wrap box, but also offer a combo box of the monthly gift wrap and lifestyle box
This is a review of their monthly theme box.
This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Subscription: Artistry Gifts
The Cost: $49.99/month for the monthly theme box.
The Products: 4-6 giftable lifestyle items such as candles, jewelry, snacks, stationery, spa items, home items, and occasional holiday items – valuing $60+ each month
Ships to: US
I love it when subscription boxes come with each item individually wrapped; it feels like a box of presents.
Each box comes with an info sheet that lists each item featured in the box. April’s theme is “Out Shopping.”
Swanky Sweetpea Retro Salt Shakes in Sweet Strawberry – 16 oz, value: $11
This is definitely adorable packaging for bath salts! It’s nothing fancy, but it’s cute and still ready to gift. Their website says that these bath salts are made with natural ingredients and fragrance oils, which is really important to me when it comes to bath products. Plus, these smell great! The only thing is that I don’t see how bath salts fit in the “Out Shopping” theme – but maybe it’s meant to fit because of the milkshake-like packaging?
Silver-Tone Butterfly and Flowers Purse Holder – value: $25
This is a really pretty purse holder! It seems like it would be handy at a restaurant or something, but the purses I like are generally too long to work with it. I also wish this weren’t the most expensive item in the box. See the photo below for a close up of the design!
Lily McGee 3 Notepad Set with Pen – value: $12
This is a pretty cute set of list notepads. I already have so many notepads around my house, but this set will make a nice gift for someone – I definitely think that Artistry Gifts holds up to their goal of providing “gift-ready” items!
Here’s a close up of the purse holder design.
Inis Moonlight Eau de Parfum sample – 2 ml
March’s Artistry Gifts box had Inis body wash and a lotion sample in it, and I know that this fragrance just isn’t for me. Fortunately, the box already has 6 items in it without the perfume, so I can just count it as a bonus.
Abdallah Chocolates Downtowner Assorted Chocolates Sampler – 1.5 oz/4 pieces, value: $3
Chocolates are always a welcome inclusion in subscription boxes for me! I’ve only tried two so far – a cherry cordial and a chocolate with peanuts in it – and both were very good!
Roger la Borde Chic Fold-Out Bag – value: $8
I’m having a hard time finding these bags available to purchase online, even on the Roger la Borde website. I really love the design of this bag! I’d definitely say it’s comparable to the Baggu bags. However, what I like less about this one is that the little bag it folds up into is attached to the inside of the bag when it folds out. It’s a small inconvenience, but it does mean you have one very specific way you have to fold it up to get it small again, whereas Baggu bags have a small, separate pouch they just slide into.
Lily McGee Midnight Rose Credit Card Case – value: $7
(I just want to mention that the info card lists this card case at $7, but I can only find it for sale for online $12.99.)
This is a really cute case! I love the hard exterior and the floral pattern! I’ve been looking for a small card case like this recently, so I was thrilled to see this in the box.
The Verdict: Overall, I really liked Artistry Gifts’ April monthly theme box. I feel like they delivered on their goal of offering usable and giftable items, and the value comes out to $66, which I’m happy with.
