Sprezza Box April 2015 - info

Each SprezzaBox comes with an informational card, detailing the featured items and their values.

Taft Men’s No-Show Socks – value: $10.50

Rade Green And Navy Square Knit Tie – value: $25

These no-show socks feel high quality, and I think they’re a good inclusion for spring. They’ll work perfectly with men’s boat shoes and such.

This tie is very interesting – it’s knit, and the square end made me not sure it was even a tie at first! It’s definitely a quirky accessory, but not my husband’s taste so it will be swapped or passed along.

Sprezza Box April 2015 - items 2

Brickell Daily Essential Face Moisturizer for Men – 1 oz, value: $8

Gents Mode Pocket Square – value: $14.90

This moisturizer is lightweight, absorbs well, and is unscented. It also has ingredients like aloe vera, jojoba, shea butter, and green tea. My husband said he really liked this product!

I think this pocket square is cute. My husband doesn’t often have need for a pocket square, though.

The Verdict: The style of SprezzaBox seems to be pretty similar to Birchbox Man, in that it seems to feature more formal items for men (neckties, shoelaces, etc.). The total value adds up to $58, so I’m happy with that value. There’s been a tie in every SprezzaBox that I’ve received, which is okay with me, but something to note before subscribing. If you love getting new different ties and wear them often, this may be a good box for you. Part of me wishes for more variety, however, especially if they’re trying to compete with Birchbox Man.

What do you think of SprezzaBox?

I’ve had this box on my wishlist for a while now, and with every review I read, I wish I’d pulled the trigger. My son wears no show socks almost every day, and he’s been wanting a square end tie. Jimmy Fallon wears them a lot. lol He wouldn’t get a lot of use out of the pocket square, but he’s trying to up his skin care game, so the lotion would definitely get used. I hope I can find some of this on the swap board. Maybe I’ll finally subscribe to SprezzaBox for May. lol

If my husband had any reason to wear ties, I would definitely be interested in this box because it looks fantastic, but he has no use for ties!

I don’t know about this box… My husband receives BirchBox Man and loves it. BBM sends out too many cologne samples (altho they’ve done better recently), but other than that, we’re happy. Meanwhile, this box / Sprezza never seems tempting. My husband wears ties and suits at work everyday BUT he already owns 30 ties! Some he bought himself (with gift cards), and the rest were gifts (from family and I). He really can’t use anymore ties. Also, he’s conservative so I don’t think he’d wear a square tie.

I didn’t know they made no show socks for men! I wear them all of the time with my flats but I think a pair of these would be great for my husband in the summer! This looked like a good month. I’m with you though…my husband would rarely need a pocket square…
