Spa Heroes is a relatively new natural beauty subscription box. Each month they send you one new full size “hero” product in the face, body, hair or sun care category.

Spa Heroes Subscription Box Review – April 2015 SPF

Suntegrity Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen & Primer SPF 30 – Value $45

This sunscreen is vegan, and free of: Parabens, Phthalates, Propylene Glycol, Mineral Oils, Synthetic Dyes, Sulfates, Paba, Titanium Dioxide, Nano-Particles and Chemical UV Absorbers.

I’ve sampled Suntegrity SPF before thanks to subscription boxes (they always send out super tiny samples), so it is nice to have a full size version! I will definitely use this up!

Spa Heroes Subscription Box Review – April 2015 Samples

This box also came with samples of Suntegrity Natural Self Tanner and Body SPF 30 Unscented – Value $4?

These samples are pretty small, but enough to give me an idea of the product. Getting tiny samples of self tanner is a little frustrating though – basically all you can do is test it on a patch of your body, or just arms, etc.

Verdict: I’m really happy with the brand and product selection this month – but I wish the value of the main product would have been higher, or the included samples would have been a little more substantial. That being said, I think this box is more about the curation than value – so keep that in mind if you are thinking about subscribing.

What do you think of the April Spa Heroes box?

  1. I like the sunscreen yet not thrilled with the value. Gonna skip subbing untl the value goes up and there is a some customization.

  2. I would rather have (and do have) BeautyDNA.

    • ….was going to say the same. I’ve used every single product they have sent, with good results. It also cost less.

  3. My mom LOVES that stuff and used all my samples of it from the total beauty boxes. If anyone gets this and doesn’t want it I would be happy to swap for it 🙂

  4. How does it compare to BeautyDNA as far as matching you to products? Is there an extensive questionnaire?

    • No – everyone gets the same item each month – it isn’t customized.
