Dottie Box Subscription Box Review – April 2015 - items 1

Wine Glass Charms – set of 2, value: $6

Hair Tie – value: $1.50

These charms are really cute and well made, I think. I don’t drink myself (plus, I’m pregnant so I couldn’t anyway), but I can see these being part of a nice hostess gift.

Unfortunately, my hair is too fine for these types of hair ties to stay in, so I always pass these along to my sister. I feel like they’ve been trending in subscription boxes for a while now, though.

Be Brave” Decal – value: $4.50

Philly Loves Lacquer Polish in “Siren Call” - .5 oz (full size), value: $12

This decal is pretty, and I’m thinking that I’ll put it on my laptop! (FYI, the info card values this at $4.50 but it’s currently on sale for $3.15 in their Etsy shop!)

This nail polish is really pretty – it’s an orangey red, with glitter in the bottle, but it goes on a little sheer. It’ll take a few coats for a full opacity. I love that it’s handmade, vegan, cruelty-free, and 5-free!

Pennie Post Farmer’s Market Watercolor Card Set – value: $8

Pennie Post has their own monthly subscription, which I also review each month. I think I received one of each of these patterns in the past, but I’m happy to have a whole new set – I really like these designs!

The Verdict: This was an alright DottieBox for me. I was thrilled to see Pennie Post featured, and I’ll use the decal and nail polish, but the wine charms and hair tie were a miss for me. The value of everything adds up to $32, which I’m happy with for a $20 box.
