Tippy Taste Jewelry Subscription Box Review - January 2015 Box

Tippy Taste is a monthly jewelry subscription box dedicated to featuring modern and chic pieces. Every month, they send you handpicked pieces to your door. They also have a “subscriber-curated” online store that features only items subscribers provide feedback about loving. They have 2 different plans: a plan for 2 pieces a month, and a plan for 3 pieces a month.

Tippy Taste Jewelry Subscription Box Review - January 2015 Earrings

Snowflake Kisses Earrings – value: $23

Pearl Crystal Studs – value: $28

Hollow Chevron Ring – value: $30

These are the three pieces in my box. All of them have a gold base, which isn’t my personal favorite but that’s okay. My favorite item is the pearl and crystal studs – I think they’re beautiful! I like the snowflakes, too, but I don’t tend to wear season-specific items. The quality feels pretty nice, especially for the ring and pearl studs.

Verdict: The pieces in my January Tippy Taste box aren’t all quite my style, but they’ll make great gifts, for sure! The quality seems pretty good, and I really like the packaging of the items/box in general.

What do you think about Tippy Taste?

Do you know if there is any way to customize your box? (ie. no earrings, no gold tone, etc). I’m just wondering if there is a profile to fill out to indicate preferences or if they’d take emailed requests into consideration. Also, along that same train of though, does everyone gets the same box or are there variations?

Hi, Holly! I emailed Tippy Taste about your questions and they said this in response: “Starting this month all our subscribers get to pick their favorites from current month collection. The collection contains at least 4-5 pieces. Right after the customer subscribe, they will receive a newsletter for them to pick their favorites. So the pieces the subscribers receive depends on which favorites they pick. No more blind surprises!”

Hope this helps! =]

Thanks so much, Haley! This was definitely helpful. I think I’m going to try them out. 🙂

The pearl studs are my favorite as well. Kind of a bummer that they included seasonal wear because those would have been cute for Christmas.
