India Tree Fair Trade Certified White Sugar Cubes – 12 oz, value: $7.09
Tea of the People Dragon Well Green Loose Leaf Tea, Blueberry and Dragon Fruit – 50 g, value: $11.99
I’ve never used sugar cubes for tea before – I recently added a “Tea and Coffee Cart” to my dining room, so these will be perfect to keep there. Plus, I love that they’re fair trade!
Tea of the People is a company that’s very dedicated to making tea healthier, made with real ingredients, and giving back. I haven’t tried the tea yet, but it smells amazing!
Tea of the People also included a letter about their mission as a company and also offering a 20% code if you share a picture of yourself drinking their tea with your Tea Box Express on social media.
Darjeeling Tea Strainer – value: $5.75
Hand Sugar Tongs – value: $3?
SweetRiot 50% Dark Chocolate Covered Cacao Nibs – value: $3.74
I think this tea strainer and sugar tongs are both adorable! I love the simplicity and small details. Also, it’s a great idea for them to include sugar tongs with the sugar cubes. However, they’ve sent a couple of loose leaf tea strainers in previous boxes, so I really don’t need any more.
I adore SweetRiot’s Chocolate Covered Cacao Nibs! I’ve had the 85% dark chocolate before, but the 50% dark chocolate is good, too. They’re also committed to fair trade with farmers in Latin America and supporting non-profits that celebrate culture and diversity.
Verdict: I really liked this month’s Tea Box Express. I like and will use everything in the box. My favorite part about this subscription is that they include tea accessories, paraphernalia, and treats in addition to a different tea each month. As far as value goes, everything adds up to $31.57, so I’m happy with that value.
