Tea Box Express Subscription Box Review – February 2015 Coconut

Conservatory Scented Soy Candle from Puur Body – 2 oz? value: $2?

Taza Stone Ground Coco Besos Amaze Bar – 2.5 oz, value: $4.95

I love soy, wood-wick candles! The scent is tea, spice, and orchid. I love it! It smells very fresh and warm.

This chocolate is delicious! It’s USDA Organic, kosher, and Non-GMO certified.

Tea Box Express Subscription Box Review – February 2015 Tea

SerendipiTea Roses Plenty Blended Tea - .75 – 1 oz, value: $3?

SerendipiTea Once Upon a Tea Blended Tea - .75 – 1 oz, value: $3?

I can’t find these sized tins priced on SerendipiTea’s website, so I’m estimating the value. These tins make approximately 10 cups.

The Roses Plenty blend is roses and green tea – it’s very light and floral. I’m a fan!

The Once Upon a Tea blend has apple, cacao beans, chocolate bits, natural cream flavor, peppermint, and natural vanilla flavor. Sounds like a dessert in a cup! And, it’s caffeine free so I’m thinking I’ll try it after dinner sometime soon!

Tea Box Express Subscription Box Review – February 2015 Puur

Earl Grey Herbal Tea Lip Balm from PuurBody – value: $3.50

Snap Mesh Tea Ball Infuser – value: $6.58

I’m definitely glad they included a loose leaf tea infuser in this box! I didn’t have a good loose-leaf tea infuser to use. This one closes very strongly so I’m not worried about getting pieces in my tea.

One thing that I love most about this subscription – and that sets it apart from other tea subscriptions – is that they include tea paraphernalia and goodies in addition to the tea itself. I love the idea of an earl grey flavored chap stick, and I’m happy to get one in this box.

Verdict: This isn’t my favorite month from Tea Box Express, but I know I will use everything in the box, so that’s still a win for me. Like I said, I love that they are a tea subscription that doesn’t just send tea, but tea accessories as well. As far as value goes, everything adds up to $23.30 so it doesn’t quite break even with the cost of the box. I wish there were a little more value, but I’ll still use everything, so I’m okay with it.

I believe the 1 oz tins sell for $5
But that could be just the price for a tin?

If you select 1 oz CTT tin from the drop window, it says $5 🙂

At any rate, 3$ seams too low for 10 cups of fancy tea.

Loved the review! Thinking of subscribing!

**SIGH** Big sigh…. I love tea but can only drink decaffeinated tea. Also allergic to roses so this would have been a total miss for me.

I really want a tea box though….

My aunt is a huge tea drinker so I am thinking of subscribing to this box for her! I love that they sent out the tea infuser because I was confused at first glace. I don’t drink tea very often and I wasn’t sure how you are supposed to brew loose tea leaves!
