Spa Heroes is a relatively new natural beauty subscription box. Each month they send you one new full size “hero” product in the face, body, hair or sun care category.

Spa Heroes Subscription Box Review – March 2015 Facial Cream

Bottega Organica Extra-Nourishing Face Formula in Vanilla – Value $78

This is a night face balm. I’m not used to scented facial products, but I really like the vanilla scent, and the formula is really gentle on my skin. I’ve used it both as a night time face balm and used a little less as a daytime moisturizer and I’m happy with it either way!

Spa Heroes Subscription Box Review – March 2015 Samples

Bottega Organica Sampler – Value $5?

This sampler includes: Morning Face Oil, Nourishing Face Oil, Extra Nourishing Face Formula, Ultra Concentrated Face Serum, and Multi-Active Face Serum.

The samples actually are pretty full and contain more than one use, but sadly the sample vials aren’t resealable.

Verdict: So far I’m enjoying this subscription. The value is there for me – this box is worth more than double what I paid, and the Bottega Organica brand is new to me! I would recommend this box if you are looking for a new natural beauty product discovery each month, but the risk with this box is that if you don’t like the main product – it’s a complete miss.

  1. I’m all for what they term “villain free” products but this seems to be to reminiscent of my experience with BeautyDNA. I ended up getting the one ( or two in some cases ) products that just didn’t “wow” me enough to continue. My current debate is between Petit Vour and GoodeBox with Eco-Emi out of the picture. There’s also Vegan Beauty Cuts. So glad there are better and more choices out there for those looking for these types of products.

    • I sub to Petit Vour and GoodeBox. I like both boxes a lot. Petit Vour I like that if I find a product in one of their products I can purchase it on their site. I’ve discovered many new brands I’ve liked and continue to purchase more of. For $15 the box is worth it to me. Goodebox I like that they put a variety of items in the box. One month they placed a nice makeup bag in the box, this month I got hair ties. Both Petit Vour and Goodebox are similar with a variety of items, yet Goddebox has more sometimes. practical items, verses makeup and beauty items. Goodebox reminds me of vegan cuts, yet because of the survey it is more skintone specific which I appreciate.

The reviews on Spa Heroes are always interesting to read and I like the concept of this box. Yet right now I don’t feel comfortable spending $39 on a box with 1 full size item. The price point is about $8 to high for me to want to sub.
