  1. Both the Arcade Block and Nerd Block Jr arrived today. It’s spring break and the boys want to trade. I hope I write the complete list.

My 16 year old thought that the box was OK. We haven’t ordered many in the past few months so he was hoping for other items. He also received a Link Plus (#3) instead of a POP figure.

    Arcade Block

    1. Link Plush – He already has this one from Arcade Block. This makes 3 Link Plushes in our house.
    2. SuperSmashBros t-shirt – He’s happy with that.
    3. Kirby Plush – he traded with his brother for the MegaBlock Iron Man drone.
    4. Halo Forerunner Lanyard – He is going to give this to someone who likes Halo.
    5. Asobu touch control joystick for touchscreen. It allows you to use a joystick for playing games on your phone.
    6. Minecraft Hangers blind item – Zombie Pig Man

The only thing he likes is the t-shirt and maybe the joystick. That’s how blind boxes work. He would had loved a Link Plush if we already didn’t have 2.

  2. My older son’s arcade block has a tracking number associated with it. I hope he receives a POP figure because he has 2 Link plushes.

  3. I bought arcade block and nerd block! Shipping was $19 (OUCH)! I am hoping to get it in time for easter for the hubby’s basket!

  4. OK, don’t know what happened there, if there is a blank message, IE did something really odd on me here. Anyway…

Does anyone here happen to know when the deadline is for signing up for the first Marvel Collector Corps box? I very much want to sign up, but if the deadline for April box is after April 1st, I can sign up on the next paycheck and might be able to swing two Grab Blocks. The Marvel Corps site has to be one of the most uninformative sites I have encountered as far as providing information that is actually relevant for people who want to know details about signing up for the premiere box and they don’t seem to have a form or email address for things like questions. If I wasn’t so interested in a box put out by Funko and Marvel themselves, I would just forget about them and go for all of the random Nerd Block fun, but I am. Either way, I will get some extra goodies from Nerd Block, I am just being greedy trying to grab even more.

  6. Tip: Make sure your bank doesn’t charge fees for international purchases. I think they are in Canada? I’m using my credit card next time. Ugh. :[

Super excited about Nerd Block!! 😀

    • I used PayPal and there was no extra fee

  7. I went for an Arcade Block. I just cancelled with Loot Crate in February after seven months of mixed feelings, so I’m glad to be trying something new and getting a geek fix somewhere this month. I am crossing my fingers for a bunch of Zelda stuff!

  8. Last time they included shirts in the block. It did ask for shirt size this time when selecting a block. My older son selected Arcade block and is hoping for a POP figure because we already have 2 Link plushes. I may buy a NerdBlock Classic if it is still available on the 23rd. There are more things that interest the boys this time around in Arcade Block than NB Classic if the items offered are going to be from November -March. I do not know that for a fact. I am guessing that because I thought that their Grab Blocks sold out last time Of course, they could order more older stuff in too.

  9. I am going around in circles trying to make up my mind. Thanks to my trying out a couple of new boxes, my fun budget can take the hit of exactly one Grab Block. But which one should I choose? I have never recieved an arcade or Horror Block before, but I have subscribed to the classic block since November, meaning I have gotten all of the recent items. But there are plenty of good older items that might come in a classic Grab Block. But the Arcade Blocks have had lots of Zelda, Mario and other such items and the Horror Blocks have had things from equally tempting franchises. Sigh, at least I have a bit of time to go around on this before making up my mind.

  10. Will the grab box include a shirt? That would make the deal worth purchasing for me.

    • I can’t say absolutely, maybe they mention it on their page, but the last Grab Block deal came with a shirt.

    • I just bought two of the blocks and I had to pay extra for XXL shirts, so I am pretty sure they come with shirts.

  11. Thank you for posting this! Its nice to try before you sub to get hooked lol
