Every box also comes with an informational card detailing the items featured that month.

Loved + Blessed Subscription Box Review – March 2015 Cards

This is the mini poster, reminder sticker, and scripture card this month. Every month’s box includes these items, but the content/designs vary according to the theme. This month, the bag detail in the design also ties into the other item in the box.

“Bag-in-Bag” Purse Organizer – value: $3.56

Each month, Loved + Blessed also includes an item in addition to the scripture-themed poster, sticker, and card. This month, they included this bag organizer – it’s expandable width-wise, and has lots of pockets and zippers and separators to give you tons of room to keep things. The zippers do feel a little cheap, though. I don’t feel like I could easily reach in my bag and open one to grab something out of it. Personally, I prefer smaller purses, so I can’t use this in my own bags, anyway. This will be gifted or swapped! I do think it was a cute idea to add for the theme of the month, though.

Verdict: Overall, I like this month’s Loved + Blessed. I’m bummed that I can’t use the item featured this month, but I really do think it was a great pick to include (I also may try to find a use for the organizer for something else, like a coupon holder or something).

I feel that this box fills a specific niche in the subscription box market – there are definitely few faith-based subscription boxes that I’ve seen. I think Loved + Blessed has good concepts and interesting ideas. It’s hard to do a specific, value-based evaluation of this box, considering its nature, but I know that a lot of our readers have argued that the monthly encouragement and message are definitely worth the $10 cost. If you are the target demographic or have been searching for a Christian Encouragement/Faith-based/Scripture subscription, I think this is a well-executed and stylish option!

What do you think about Loved + Blessed?

I received my April’s box today. Perfect for Easter.

For Christmas I gave this to family who are more conservative Christians than I am, and I think they like it. I would not find it particularly supportive.

I understand that on MSA that a lot of boxes are based on monetary value but this box value isn’t based on that. In some ways it is priceless. This is a box that is uplifting and encouraging …
And that is worth far more than the value of the box!!! So far the messages in the box have been what I needed at the point of time. And I look forward to this box every month.

I struggle with this review. I understand the standard for MSA is value, but this box isn’t based on monetary value. I doubt anyone is subscribing to this box for that reason. This box is more about encouragement. I wrote to the owner describing how this box has been a huge encouragement for my sister. Each message fits perfectly.

I’m going to put the organizer in a bag that I use for conferences, classes etc. I did pull and yank on the zipper and felt it was fine.

I think the review process is a poor fit for this type of box.

I normally value values on items. Yet this box is different. How much value can faith and encouragement have? millions of $s for some.

putting the value next to an item in a religious based box yet not putting a value for faith encouragement and the message behind this box bothers me.

I could care less about the bag being under 4 on amazon. I did not sub for value. I subbed for the message of faith and encouragement monthly. The link to amazon bugged me with the price next to the bag.

As far as the bag I used it in my purse today. It has many compartments and works great. I m constantly changing purses and always seem to forget something in the other purse. This is wonderful for organization.

I feel blessed to having a love blessed sub for 10 a month which includes shipping.

Thanks so much for your feedback, Lily! I definitely understand the fact that you can’t put a value on the encouragement and faith-based message provided in this box (and also, we agree that material value or getting good deals is not the objective of this box at all). It’s just our standard at MSA to price items from sub boxes if we can find a value for them online, as well as link to them in case any of our readers who didn’t get the box are interested in snagging one for themselves. Nancy, another commenter, also pointed out something about the bag I hadn’t originally thought of myself: She mentioned that the bag itself serves as a reminder of the month’s message for her, which has a priceless value all it’s own!

I’m glad to hear the purse organizer works well for you – I agree that this box is well done for $10/month!

I’m glad you included the link, because I might like to buy that bag. But keep in mind that at that price, you have to wait a month or longer for it to ship from overseas. Amazon sells a lot of things super cheap from China and other places, but you run a risk getting something you didn’t order, something broken or junk and not much recourse! So having it in this nice sub box is nice, in my opinion, even if it can be purchased cheaply on Amazon.

Haley: I understand on pointing out the value, it’s been very helpful in all the other boxes, with this box I liked the bag enough to perhaps purchase others as gifts, so now I know it’s on Amazon, which is great. When I read the review, and saw the value, which I actually thought was at least $10, I had to remind myself that I did not sub because of the value, I subbed because of the positive message the box brings monthly. – Most the other boxes I sub because of value and items in the box, The Love + Blessed box is the only exception.

This is also my 1st month & I really like the little bag. I have a million & 1 ideas for uses but, I’ll probay wind up gifting it to my 10 year old who wants to use it as a caddy for long car rides. The timing of the message was also great because of some financial fears I’m experiencing.

It spoke to me as well! I love this box and every month, it’s given me a message I needed to hear!!

I don’t often disagree with what you all say here on MSA but I disagree about the bag. It might not have cost that much, but that doesn’t mean it’s not useful or needed! I actually like it and can use it. I know my daughter is using it for her journaling supplies. I am using it to put some of my crafting tools in. The zippers are fine and open and close easily for me. The snaps can be opened to make the bag bigger or smaller. What a great little bag!! It can be slid down inside a larger tote bag or purse to hold several items so that things are more compartmentalized. I love it and I especially love the message that came with it. God provides and the organizer is meant to be a reminder that He does provide for us!!

Nancy,

Thanks for your input! I did think about using the bag as an organizer or coupon holder itself or finding some use for it even without fitting it in my purse, but I didn’t think about it serving as a reminder itself. Great perspective!

This was my first month with this subscription. I like the included item and I already own one. I actually use it for traveling. I put it in my carry on personal item to organize things I need while in flight. It’s true that it’s not the most luxuriously made product (in fact, you can buy one very cheaply). But mine survived three weeks through Europe this fall and came home none the worse for wear.
