  1. My toner was one that was completely clear. I actually considered keeping it and using it, despite the “recall”. I hadn’t used it since the email came, though. Last night, I picked it up and there was a milky substance floating in it. I immediately poured it out. I just wanted to share my experience for any of you still using yours.

  2. I’ve tried a bunch of Urban Oreganics products in the past and they’re great! They’ve handled this really well and I’ll definitely be ordering more from them soon.

  3. I’m sad because I like the toner, but also reiterating others’ compliments on Kloverbox’s and Urban Oreganics’s handling of the matter. This could have turned into another FrenchBox fiasco, but they kept it professional.

  5. I love the toner. I ordered a full size with the included kloverbox coupon after I emailed Emily of Urban Oreganics about the full size bottles and received her response:

    Hi
    Thanks for reaching out. Yes, I use glass to package all my products and have never had any issues. For cost reasons, Kloverbox requested plastic, and there was apparently some mishap with the plastic bottles that’s causing this chemical reaction.

  6. Have been thinking of signing up for KloverBox and seeing how they handeled this goes a long way in deciding -could have just ignored or offered some lame replace -will be my next box for sure 🙂

  7. My toner is clear but the lemon particles, I think are growing. Is that the particles they are talking about?

    • The amount of particles in my toner has also increased. I am happy with how KloverBox and Urban Oreganics have handled the problem. I hope it doesn’t hurt the manufacturer too much financially. Their products have good reviews on Etsy.

  8. I sent pictures of my toner to Kloverbox on Thursday. I’m pleased with how quickly Kloverbox and Urban Oreganic responded to the situation. The email announcement ended up in my spam folder. I didn’t realize there was an update until saw it on MSA.

I was a bit bummed when I got this email because I was excited to try a rosewater toner but I’m very pleased with how well Kloverbox has kept it’s subscribers informed in a timely manner and how Urban Oreganics is committed to providing quality products and providing a replacement product (which I imagine will come at a considerable financial cost to them). Hopefully the plastic bottle manufacturer will be held accountable for Urban’s losses.
