GlossyBox Subscription Box Review & Coupon – March 2015

GlossyBox Subscription Box Review & Coupon – March 2015 Box

GlossyBox is a monthly beauty subscription box. They have the best packaging in the business, their products are usually deluxe-size or full size, and the value is usually really good too. The only issue with this box seems to be the late shipping – I would recommend just keeping that in mind and setting your expectations accordingly if you sign up for this box.

(Based on some of the comments on the February review, it also looks like GlossyBox is starting to send out more variations for subscribers each month, so this box may not be exactly what all subscribers receive for March).

GlossyBox sent us this box for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

GlossyBox Subscription Box Review & Coupon – March 2015 Info

Each box comes with a fold out card detailing the items included.

GlossyBox Subscription Box Review & Coupon – March 2015 Concealer

Bellapierre Cosmetics Cheek & Lip Stain in Pink – FULL SIZE! Value $20

So Susan Concealer Quad – FULL SIZE! Value $31

I’ve sampled this cheek and lip stain before, and I like the formula. It is highly pigmented, so a little goes a long way, and I prefer it more as a cheek stain so I blend it in more.

I was excited to see a concealer quad in this box – I imagine with blending, this will work for a variety of skin tones as a concealer, highlighter, and/or contouring cream. I didn’t think it provided enough coverage for under eye circles, but I like it as an overall concealer.

GlossyBox Subscription Box Review & Coupon – March 2015 Ouidad

Ouidad Color Preserving Shampoo – 2.5 oz Value $5.30

Ouidad Color Preserving Conditioner – 2.5 oz Value $5.90

I’ve sampled some of Ouidad’s curl enhancing products thanks to Birchbox, but these seem more my style since I usually end up straightening my hair every day!

GlossyBox Subscription Box Review & Coupon – March 2015 Brows

ModelCO More Brows in Medium/Dark – FULL SIZE! Value $15

This is basically a mascara for brows. It is designed to make brows look fuller and darker. The formula has a very natural-looking result, but this shade is a little too dark for my brows.

GlossyBox Subscription Box Review & Coupon – March 2015 Cream

Orogold Cosmetics 24K Multi Vitamin Day Moisturizer (2) (15 g total?) – Value $58

This is a relatively lightweight cream – it absorbs quickly and is very moisturizing. It’s a luxe packaged and priced beauty item, and it definitely feels luxe. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it has a perfume-like scent. It isn’t very strong, but something to keep in mind if you have sensitive skin and need to avoid fragrance in skin care products.

(Also – I think the reviews for this product on their site look fake. I could be wrong, but the email addresses for the user names don’t seem legit).

Verdict: I think this is a great GlossyBox. I’m happy with the sizes of all the products, the variety of items included, and the brands. The value of this box is incredible too ($135). That’s assuming I’ve estimated the right size on the day cream, but either way the value is great.

What do you think of the March GlossyBox?

  1. I have read many negative comments about glossybox customer service, but I have had pretty good experiences with them. Last month my hair conditioner spilled and they were quick to both respond to my email and to send out a replacement. Then yesterday when I e mailed them saying the Oprah discount did not work and right away they emailed me a new code. I was impressed. Maybe they stepped up their customer service due to all the negative feedback.

    • it is very quick to respond via FB messager usually within 30 min. So I thinks it does a very good job with its customer service. I also try to message GB early in the morning.

      • I have had good luck with them on twitter. I really haven’t had problems contacting their CS although I never really had trouble getting ahold of Julep, either. So maybe I’m just lucky.

  2. The more I look at this box, the more underwhelming it becomes. Especially after last month’s incredible box. The concealer & brow gel are what I’m looking forward to.

I usually love cheek & lip stains that come in a pot, but Bellapierre is so old news with its over use in sub boxes (plus it comes on Hautelook for cheap). Shampoo & Conditioner have boring packaging. And I agree with everyone else about the last item (s).

    • I agree, I am so sad, I almost cried! ;(

    • Sadly I just got my box and I never even got the concealer. Instead I got some tiny body cream. I don’t know why this box is always so late then I don’t even get what everyone else gets. Getting really disappointed with them.

  3. Ordered this box after seeing the spoilers. I’m so excited about the concealer quad, eyebrow gel, & cheek stain! Hoping for Ouidad or Nexxus for the hair product.

  4. So I asked Glossybox for a 20% off coupon code since the Oprah one expired before 3/3/15 and they gave me one. It’s good for one time use only, and the March box looks terrible to me, so whoever wants it, see below! (FYI you could also probably email them like I did and get your own code too!)

Expires at 11:00 PM, although they didn’t specify which timezone, I’m Central.

    • I did the same thing and was able to purchase one year sub with 20% off. My code was oprah2 as well. GB replied my FB message stating that the code oprah has exceeded the usage and that was why it was not working.

  5. Liz, It’s my favorite change to date 🙂

Ugh… further update to my frustration now turned hate with Glossybox. This company keeps randomly charging me!
They just charged me a third time for 21.00. At 4am (yo Glossybox, I’m pretty sure I’m not shopping in my sleep, I’m addicted but not that addicted!!)

Ugh this month is barely worth the monthly charge yet now I’ve paid $59.85 for it. My money is taken right away but never refunded as quickly it’ll be atleast 15 days till its processed and put back in my account. Gurr :/
Glossybox you are seriously ruining my mood. Is anyone else being triple charged or am I the one and only “lucky” subscriber out there?

    • This company is so frustrating. So they respond to my email sent yesterday saying they refunded my money. Only they charged me 3 times so they are suppose to refund a total of $42 not just $21. They charged me at 4am and refunded that one but not the initial $21 they charged by mistake, yet the customer service rep is acting like she did me this great favor…. Some favor just got off the phone with PayPal that refund won’t be available till March 11 and then it takes 2-3 business days to transfer to my bank from PayPal so I’m looking at 11 days before I have my money and now the other charge is being dealt with a fraud so that’s another 11 days so a whole month before I see my money. Yep Glossybox I despise you!

    • I canceled in February and received written confirmation from them. However, they charged me for March anyway. They never responded to multiple emails. However, they did respond when I sent message on FB. It’s too bad because some of their boxes have been great. The customer service is terrible.

    • I apparently missed the deadline to cancel my account. However, since I had used a one time use cc from my bank they were unable to bill me. When they sent the second notice stating that they were having trouble billing me, I replied that they should check and see that I cancelled. Here is the response I received:

We are very sorry for any confusion regarding the Glossybox monthly subscription service. In accordance with our terms and conditions, which are agreed upon at checkout, we require all cancellations be made by the 14th of the prior month.

Your previous cancellation request did not process within the deadline terms, which is why there was a charge attempt for the renewal. However, the payment was refused, so we have cancelled the subscription today.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

I always use a one time number whether I am purchasing monthly, quarterly or yearly. There is no possibility that I will be double billed or renewed without my consent. I reiterate that it’s the best method for subscription box payments (and also discount magazine subscriptions).

      • Is that like a gift card? Do you just go to the bank and ask for a card in the exact amount you need? Are you in the US?

I’ll see if my bank offers these. I’ve tried to use those prepaid Visa/Mastercards that you can purchase at Walmart, and many times they are refused. I’d love to find another option to using my “real” credit cards.

      • That’s a great idea. I wish I had thought of it before I signed up for a discount magazine subscription. $90 later I was on the phone and yelling at a robot. 🙁

  6. I hope I can swap most of this. I can’t use any of it except for the concealer and shampoo/conditioner, and I’m not excited about either of those. But Glossybox was so good last month, I’m not giving up on them.

  7. Oh nooo after seeing the disappointed Sample Society spoilers, now this?? it’s too much in one day!, why Glossybox why?? I was so happy with my previous boxes, sigh** and I’m not even talking about the Ipsy spoilers, I’m sure I’m gonna get another MARSK eye shadow :/

    • I already have bellapierre tint and model co products from birchbox, more shampoo and conditioner that will be added to the pile of hair samples I already got,. That orogold cream? sounds more like a snake oil :/

    • I feel the same way! I have both SS and Glossy and I hate both March Boxes. The only thing that saves SS is the M+G lip balm that I love!

I almost cried when I saw the spoilers this month! I feel so let down!

(And Feb was so AMAZING for Glossy and Popsugar!)

  8. I’m quite happy with this box, actually. I don’t like bronze or coral colors and the pink is perfect for me, I color my hair, I’m almost out of my concealer stick, and I have dark brows and am looking forward to trying the brow stuff. For me, major win. The cream is probably fine, pushy sales people and stupidly transparent fake reviews aside, I have used (gift, thankfully no experience with their shadiness firsthand) their face mask and it was quite nice.

  9. 3 Things:
    1. I got the cheek and lip stain from Beauty Box 5 in October, in fact, I got 2 of them in the same box.
    2. I’m really excited about the brow stuff, I was just thinking about ordering something similar from Ulta.
    3. It ticks me off that review boxes are already out, yet I won’t get this box until the first week of Aprilish.
    That is all.

  10. OPRAH coupon is expired!!! Arrrrrrrr!!!! Damnit!! I was just about to order the year…missed the boxboat!! I cold of swore it said valid until March 3rd!! grrrrrr!! ok vent over….grrrrrr…..ok now its officially over! 😉

    • if you email cust service, they will give you a new code that will expire the same day. Just let them know that the first code expiration was today.

  11. Wow. Those reviews. They are so blatantly false that do they think they are fooling anyone?

    • Apparently all of their customers use gmail. They could have at least mixed it up with a few hotmail and yahoo fake emails. Just. Wow.

    • those reviews…with those addresses…that made me LITERALLY laugh out loud.

It makes me think of the 1990’s, when companies, organizations, schools and such issued instructional guides on how to use email and forums, featuring example screenames (as they called ’em back then) like or

Now I want to go listen to some Third Eye Blind.

  12. Not a fan. So Susan was in a previous box, and Bellapierre and ModelCo are “cheaper” brands that are already in so many boxes. Glossybox used to have nice brands…I’m really disappointed. I think Glossy is going downhill…

  13. Its only March 2nd, so how i there already a Glossy box review???

…Sidenote…does anyone know how long the Oprah coupon works??\

  14. I’m completely underwhelmed. As a Black woman there’s nothing here I’m really interested in besides possibly the Ouidad Shampoo and Conditioners but to be honest, I’m tired of getting shampoo and conditioner samples.

    • I totally agree.

    • I totally agree. However i love love love IPSY. they allow you to customize with your skin tone, hair color etc. And so far they have done amazing sending me things that would actually work for a black woman.

  15. Oh God. I hate this whole box. I might cry, I really needed a pick me up from my sub boxes. I really feel so let down! ;(

    • That’s what Glossybox do so well – let people down. When my current subscription runs out in April, I don’t care how wonderful the discount is, I’m not signing up again.
Their customer service is easily the worst in the entire sub box world. So many times I’ve had to resort to going to their Facebook page to get a resolution.
Last month I got the worst combination of products. It was so annoying to see others receive decent skin care or mascara and comparing it to my $5 bar of soap.

      • OMG that happened to me too! I emailed them 3 times with a simple question and when I went to log in I think they canceled me for asking that question which what’s up with the 5$ bar of soap! I emailed them again twice and still no response! I called and no response! They are terrible to their customers!!!

        • Please reach out to our customer care again, we work very hard to help our customers and I hope we can get your questions answered.

          The GLOSSYBOX Team

        • Hey, let us know if you get any joy from Glossybox customer service! I’m interested to know how that works out.

        • I found that soap on Amazon and did the math: It was worth $3.72 actually.

      • That happened to me also! I was so incensed that I did not renew my subscription. And when I got the email asking why I cancelled I let them know exactly why: Too much disparity between the value of the boxes, false advertising by sending all the bloggers the good boxes and very poor customer service handling this issue or should I say NOT handling this issue.

  16. Even if the shampoo company is full of lies, it’s only $11 from the box so I’m not offended.

    • Its actually the company that makes the $58 moisturizer, not the shampoo company. Their names are really similar!

      • I see that now! How confusing!!

  17. Hi Liz, first I just want to rave about the new feature! I love that I no longer have to enter my name and email every time I go to comment on a post! Not sure when you made this change but it’s fantastic so thank you for all the hard work you and your husband do to make this site an Amazing experience!!

Now on to my issue with glossybox,
I rejoined today with the 15% promo which made the price $17.85 which would be great if they didn’t charge me twice. The charged me a second time for the full price of $21. Ugh I emailed them but haven’t hesrd back, the last time this happened they never fixed it and I had to open up a case with PayPal. This time I’m not waiting around for them. I contacted PayPal right away. I want the concealer pallet which is why I signed up but I don’t want it bad enough to be double charged! O wells at least I can daydream about my Oui please box which has finally shipped.. This will keep me happy for days!! Lol

    • Yay! We’ve been trying to improve comments, so I’m glad you noticed and appreciated that change 🙂

      Thanks for letting me know!

      • Both my boxes have my email in them so I have to change the top one every time.

  18. You did it for me! I was just about to ask for a Mommy Mailbox review after seeing a few comments around the web about it.
Someone said it was like Anthropologie. I’d sign up for something like that in a hot minute!
Glossybox: I hope there are variations and that I get something other than the eyebrow stuff, it’s far too dark for me, all of them are.
The color preserving shampoo and conditioner will be up for swap if I get them too. I’m on a crusade to clear out the ‘travel sized’ products I’ll never use.

  19. Not a bad box. Excited to try the So Susan concealer since I loved the blush we got before. Also So Susan has a “lip love” subscription for about $16 that I might have to try out.

  20. why would they even list your email address if leaving a review?

  21. I think this box looks ok. It’s not the best GlossyBox I’ve seen but I do think I’d really like the cheek stain and So Susan concealer (I LOVE the So Susan blush from a few months ago). I cancelled my subscription to GB last month because I needed a break and was getting overwhelmed with products but I’m sure I’ll resubscribe at some point. Overall, I’ve found more new favorites from GB than any other sub box and I’ve also found that the items I don’t want seem to swap relatively easy on the swap site…which, IMO, makes it a great box (even when some months aren’t the best).

  22. Yeah I have to say I’m pretty disappointed that GB would put something like this in our boxes. I know I won’t be using it! Bummer

    • To what are you referring?

      • The OroGold Cream. It appears the company is less than trustworthy and reputable so I’m not too keen on trying out their products and I’m not impressed that GB would associate with such a brand.

  23. I am excited to try the concealer, hair products and brow gel.

  24. Wow, I was thinking of resigning up, but after reading these comments I might re-think this month, I’ll have to check out those fake comments for that product it’s pretty shady to do that. Makes me question using it.

So I’ll check it out before I pull the trigger and rejoin. Also Liz the promo code AIMODSTER15 says invalid, tried it a couple of times and no luck.

Thanks again for you honest review!

    • Thanks for letting me know about the coupon – it should be updated now. MSAMARCH15 takes 15% off your first month.

  25. I can’t believe Glossybox would work with Orogold, I hope they start doing research on companies they choose to work with in the future.

  26. The value is there, but the products look so so and mini size.

  27. AGREED. The reviews are fake and filtered. I posted several negative reviews of some products and a few positive ones on the same day . The negative ones never appeared and the positive ones did. Total BS reviews designed to make them look good. I refuse to purchase from a company that lies.

  28. Wow! I just read up on Ora Gold, that is crazy! Glossybox shouldn’t be doing business with such a shady company.

  29. Nearly all of the OroGold reviews on Amazon are fake, too. They say “verified purchase” but you can fake that easily. (The vendor just sends out promotional codes so people can “order” the product through Amazon without paying anything.) You can tell on Amazon because most of the reviewers haven’t reviewed any other products at all, and the reviews are very short and uninformative (just like the ones on the OroGold site Liz linked to).

I find that the companies willing to fake reviews like this on Amazon (and elsewhere) generally have products I’m unwilling to use due to safety concerns (or simply lack of active ingredients). If the stuff was that good, legitimate customers would be raving about it.

    • I agree. Also- on Amazon even if a product has hundreds of reviews, only a small number of people will mark a comment as “helpful.” Somehow this product only has 36 reviews, and yet 20 people (sometimes 30 people) have marked comments as helpful, pushing those positive reviews to the top reviews that you see. Statistically ridiculous if you are familiar with amazon reviews.

  30. I am thrilled with this box! Will swap the lip tint as I have 2 already, and the moisturizer, but I am thrilled to see Ouidad color preserve shampoo and conditioner! I can’t try 99% of shampoos included in sub boxes because I have vivid hair colors, and I love Ouidad, so this spoiler excites me! I never get concealer in sub boxes, so very excited to see a full size quad, and tinted brow gel is my fave type of brow product! Just hope colors are customized, dark brown wouldn’t work for me. Seems like Glossybox is stepping it back up! February’s box was awesome, and I can’t wait to get my hands on the March box!

  31. Here’s hoping I get a variation I like. I just like the shampoo and conditioner. I’m very fair so the brow mascara will be way to dark and I’m afraid to try the orogold after seeing all this. Glossy use to be one of my favorite boxes, I’ll give it one more month before cancelling.

  32. I’m so glad I didn’t subscribe! I would have hated this box. The tint is too pink for me, I don’t color treat my hair (though I should), I don’t do anything to what qualifies for my eyebrows and then… Oro Gold. I’ve had an interesting history with this company. A couple of years ago I went into one of the stores and was subjected to their hard sale treatment. It was one of the most interesting experiences in my life – but then again, I have yet to go to a time-share presentation.

I wrote about it in my blog, and through the years I’ve heard from dozens of people *all over the world* who have been conned by the company. It’s really, really sad – as you can read by the comments on my blog story.

Oro Gold tried to woo me and they sent me three free products. I used them without bad effects – but not particularly great ones either. I didn’t use their facial serum because it was full of silicones which I feared would not allow my face to breathe. I added the URL to my oro gold posting to my name (though I’m not sure if if that means you’ll be able to get to it by clicking on my name).

Liz, I know you are very careful about the ingredients you use, so you may want to look carefully at what is in that day cream.

  33. Those reviews are totally fake. They all reviewed on the same day, and ‘sandra’ and ‘kat’ made the same comment, word for word. Hella iffy.

  34. I really hesitated to post this with all the negative reviews and accusations that have been going around on MSA lately, but I decided to post bc people have the right to know.

My sister had an experience with Orogold cosmetics that was awful (My sister is a really sweet person and can get walked on at times). She was approached by a lady selling Orogold cosmetics at our local mall and was literally pushed into buying this skin peel product that costs $150. I think that price was after a heavy “discount” too. Anyway, the she said the sales tactics were extremely pushy and she bought the product thinking she could return it if she didn’t like it. Turns out, after they charge her card they don’t allow returns at all. She goes home and looks up the company and the product and it turns out the product is basically glue and there are tons of people online who also felt scammed by Orogold. This all happened about a year ago… it seems they really cleaned up their image online, but some articles can still be found if you google “orogold scam” and “orogold glue”. I think that also explains the fake looking reviews… they are FAKE.

Anyway, the cream included in the Glossyboxes might be a decent product, I have not seen the ingredients, but it is defiantly not worth the inflated price suggested. Please don’t but the full priced item without doing your research first. My sister felt taken advantage of and was really upset by what happened and I don’t want it to happen to anyone if I can help it.

    • Yep, that’s my blog article (find it by clicking on my name).

When you go to one of their stores, they treat you to an example of their exfoliant. They apply the substance and then rub it off and you see what you think is all this dead skin coming off – and then your skin is super soft.

One ingredient list I found online for this item listed PVA as an ingredient – basically a glue. If you put glue on your skin and wait until it dries, you’ll see it also looks like you are rubbing off dead skin and what’s left is very soft. The later formulation of the product no longer had that, but instead has a couple of other products that form beads on the skin – probably thus imitating dead skin.

      • Actually Elmer’s glue thin over your nose is quite effective – like a Biore strip — and much cheaper than this stuff. 🙂

  35. My first GlossyBox, I signed up with the Oprah code and got a 3 month. This box looks great, except for the shampoo and conditioner, since I have straight hair. Hoping for something else. Excites about the concealer palette and brow gel. I actually need a new brow gel.

    • The shampoo/conditioner isn’t for curly hair; it’s for color treated hair. In my experience that kind works for all hair types.

  36. Totally fake reviews! Makes me even question if I should try the product at all.

  37. Is this glossybox for the month of March? If it does, you got yours so early and makes me want to sign up 🙂

    • i signed up last week and got an email saying my box will ship the 3rd week in the month so not everyone gets their box this early !

  38. No longer sad that my subscription ended with February and that I was a day late to re-subscribe with the code (so didn’t re-subscribe).

I guess I am stalking the spoilers/previews until a good box shows up.

  39. If I signed up now, would I get the March box or would they start with next month? I really want that concealer palette!

    • Your first box will be the March box! 🙂

  40. This box doesn’t look too great to me, so I’m ok with getting a variation this time. But definitely not happy about the fiasco last month with all the low value variations.

    • What products had variations? I must have missed that and got lucky since I loved everything in mine.

      • Last month’s variations were Scalisi skincare $25, Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes mascara $22 or Teadora soap $5.
When I saw the box preview, I thought everyone would receive the Jelly Pong Pong and was thrilled about it.
But no, I got a bar soap, because Glossybox somehow knows that I never use bar soap, lol.
Basically, it’s unfair to send such a huge variance in value but try making Glossybox care.
They asked for photos of their boxes on Facebook, so I childishly uploaded mine with coloured arrows pointing saying ‘Where’s the Jelly Pong Pong?’ and ‘No Scalisi!’ on it. They took it down.

      • I got a “classic” box that had the same Kryolan blush we received last year, a Juice Beauty moisturizer and a generic hot pink nail polish. It valued under $60, I was so excited for the Royal Apothic lip butter, the Jelly Pong Pong mascara and the Julep nail polish. I didn’t get those 3 things, I messaged them on facebook since I was fuming and they sent my the lip butter, Julep nail polish and a bottle of the body wash. I swapped for the mascara so I got to try it.

        • I was promised that they would send the mascara but it never arrived. Have you gotten your replacements? Thanks.

  41. March will be my 1st Glossybox {used the 20% OPRAH coupon & purchased a year after reading ALL of your reviews, thank you}. I’m excited to see if there’s variations to my box, although I’d be happy to receive the same one as you…I’m picky about which boxes I subscribe too, I feel like this one is a winner. I’d also LOVE to get a memebox, but I can’t navigate the website & don’t feel as if I’m seeing the same boxes everyone is getting. Any advice??

    • Memebox’s are different. They’re boxes that, once purchases, are gone until they decided to restock them. The company just got a major ‘revamp’ though and they’re only shipping to select countries now, so older boxes may not be restocked, since they’re being curated in the US and not Korea anymore from my understanding.

However, if you’re still interested, go to their web page and just click under the boxes and the new boxes tab 🙂

    • I ordered my first memebox and haven’t received it yet, but what I have received are emails providing discounts if their products are ordered through their smartphone app. So if you want to try it out, I’d suggest downloading their app first and comparing prices.

Here are the codes I’ve received so far:
      1) Get $20 off your purchase of $100 or more using ‘MARCHMADNESS’
      2) Buy 3 or more XO Memebox products on our APP and get 15% off your order using ‘XOMEME15’ **
      3) Buy 2 or more boxes on our APP and get $5 off using ‘BOXPARTY’

  42. And they were all “reviewed” on the same day! Wow ..

  43. How on earth did you receive Glossybox already?? It’s only the second day of the month! 😀

    • They sent me this box for review purposes, so I got it early.

    • They send them early to the bloggers to advertise. I used to love that about them so we could decide if we want to hurry up and subscribe to get what is revealed. However, now that they do not send the same thing (and not nearly the same value) to everyone, it does not really allow us to make a decision. And I also feel it is false advertising when all the bloggers get the higher value box.

I would not assume that the box you will get is the same (or the same value) as Liz’s box unfortunately.

  44. Omgsh you are so right, Liz! Thanks for checking into that… Seriously? That’s not even a little bit sneaky. That’s just embarrassing. 🙁

  45. Kinda glad I canceled this sub last month..

  46. Liz, thank you for pointing this out about the reviews. I think it is a more pervasive problem than we acknowledge, even with some very legitimate companies. My son was a marketing major in college, and one of his summer internships was a “social media marketer”. His job was to visit blogs and other social media sites, and give positive reviews on the company’s product, without informing the public of his connection. While he was reviewing a different sort of a product, and could give factual basis so it did not compromise his integrity, it did open my eyes to how easily reviews can be manipulated. Here, with the fake email addresses and reviews all on one day, it seems clear. I have noticed on many subscription blogs, however, reviews where the reviewers seem to parrot the language used by the box in their comments or on their FB page. I am wary about those!

  47. We have an OroGold store in the mall. Those people are so obnoxious. I got pulled in one time & seriously thought I was going to have to call the cops to get me out of there. They did not want to let me leave. The reviews on the website are quite in line with the behavior I experienced in the store. It may be a great product but the companies tactics are questionable in my opinion.

    • I had a similar experience with the Orogold store in my mall. They are uncomfortably pushy to the point where I felt I was the one being rude by telling them that I just did not want to hear anything more that they had to say. I agree, the reviews seems consistent with in-store behavior.

  48. Also Sandra and Kat must’ve been separated at birth since they both gave identical verbatim reviews. Really does make you question a company.

  49. Yeah, those reviews look fake. All were posted on the same day too. Definitely seems sketchy…

  50. I do not think you are wrong about the fake reviews on the gold cream, those gmail addresses are way too basic…I wish companies would just let their products speak for themselves…I am sure the cream is very nice but the fake reviews now make me question the product quality which is the exact opposite of their intent.

    • I’m with you – I would feel much better if there were just no reviews on the site!

    • (Also this is the wrong but has anyone ever gotten Mommy Mailbox? I don’t want/plan on kids but those boxes look so nice and not child-oriented! Would love to see a review!)

      • That box looks good! We’ll get it reviewed! 🙂

        • Thanks, Liz! =) I have been seriously crushing on it!

      • I second this! I also am not a mom, but this box looks awesome!
