  1. Is shipping additional with Bespoke Post if you buy with Rue La La?

  2. Does anybody know if you’re still able to skip a month with Bespoke Post if you have a 3 month sub?

    • I purchased the 3 month deal from Rue La La back in December and I have been able to skip after making the first purchase. They can change the policy, so you may want to ask customer service if you would like to be sure.

  3. I’m thinking of getting the weekender. Can those who’ve gotten it tell me how comfortable/useful/durable it has been?

    • The canvas part is excellent quality. The leather is not terrible, but not as good. It’s surprisingly large and heavy, enough that I haven’t actually used it yet. I don’t regret getting it, but it’s not quite as versatile as I had expected. I think buckling and unbuckling the straps would get old very fast, but it would be perfect to take away for a weekend (surprise!) where you only open your bag up once when you arrive, and close it up once when you leave.

    • If you want an all purpose duffle, the quality of the Sweat bag is fantastic. I don’t know if it’s still being offered.

  4. Hey just an FYI for those of us not in the lower 48 you cant get the Rue La la deal :(. Its a shipping thing. Bespoke does ship to Hi/Ak/Canada but it is a little more per box. Here is there info:
‘Standard shipping is free to the lower 48 states for all orders over $45. If an order is under $45, shipping is $5. We have to charge a little extra for shipments to Hawaii, Alaska and Canada: it’s $10 to Hawaii, Alaska, Ontario, and Quebec, and the rest of Canada is $15. We promise we’re not trying to mess with you — the extra charges only offset the shipping costs and taxes/duties we pay to get your box there. It’s not a profit center for us.’
I guess I will have to save my money, bummer. haha 🙂

    • Ok correction: You can get the deal but you have to use a 48 state address to checkout at Rue Lala. You are given the option to on Bespoke to enter your out of 48 state address.

  5. The Urthbox deal is a ripoff. The 3 month mini box costs $9/month normally, and they are selling a 3 month mini sub for $35. That’s $8 more than the normal cost! The other boxes have greatly inflated retail values as well.

  6. I love Bespoke Post! They deliver both quality and value. I took a look at the fine print and this offer is for new subscribers only. Bummer!

    • Has anyone opened a new account to take advantage of this offer?

      • I haven’t yet, but I’m going to try tonight because 99 for 3 boxes is too good to pass up. I’m going to try to gift the subs then to my normal account. I’ll report back.

        • I was thinking of creating another account, but I am curious to what Alli A has to say about her plan! Another FYI is that Bepoke charges taxes upon redeeming the coupon, I guess depending on which state you live. I purchased one last year (3 months) and I have one more box with the coupon. I was hoping to add to the current sub…

      • Update! So I bought the certificate (at 99), created a new account to redeem it, then bought a gift card for the amount of the certificate (at 135) and had it shipped to me. There should have been an option to make it an e-gift card but I couldn’t figure that part out. The gift card ships on the fifth. With the new account, the site had me pick a box but then I could go into my cart and immediately cancel the order by opting out for this month. If you do this before tomorrow at 11pm, you should be okay. Otherwise it will ship to you.

        • Thanks! Great info.

          • Final update – received the gift card, applied it to my normal account. Easy peasy! Now to cancel the new account before I forget I have it.

        • Alli, what is the difference using new account with voucher as regular subscription vs. purchasing the gift card? Maybe I am the only one who doesn’t get it… 🙁

          • I occasionally forget to skip by the fifth, which is how I, a dashing young lady, wound up with the shaving kit. Also, my regular account already has my preferences baked in. You can totally use a second account, just track the boxes and be sure to cancel in time.

          • Alli, thanks! You are smart to gift yourself so that you only have one account to manage. I think I am going to buy the voucher. All of my men in my life are so picky, but I think my brother will like either Weekender or Sweat bag. They are very similar in size, but Sweat bag looks easier to use and maybe lighter.

  7. Ok am i the only person who is not familiar with rue lala ? looks like you have to be a member with a password ?

    • Yes – you have to create a free account to view and buy the deals/items. Hope that helps!

      • yes thank you. when i looked at first it looked to me i needed a password just to sign up. i must have missed the “new” person link
