XploreHer Toy Box Subscription Box Review - February 2015 Letter

Each box comes with an info card describing the box. Every month is supposed to have a theme, and even this card says each month has its own fun theme, but it doesn’t say what the theme is for this box, exactly!

XploreHer Toy Box Subscription Box Review - February 2015 Info

The back of the card explains some great tips on care and cleaning for toys and adult products.

XploreHer Toy Box Subscription Box Review - February 2015 Crazy Girl

Crazy Girl Wanna Be Pampered Body Massagers – value: $18?

I can’t find a set of two of these for sale anywhere online, so I guesstimated the value. These seem really nice – they feel similar to ice packs or reusable eye coolers. However, they have a metal disc floating inside that you bend and then shake to heat them up. You can also re-heat them by letting them sit in hot water for a minute.

XploreHer Toy Box Subscription Box Review - February 2015 Rose Petals Explosion

Sex & Mischief Satin Black Blindfold – value: $6.99

Bijoux Indiscrets Rose Petals Explosion – value: $12.99

Blindfolds are a great inclusion in this kind of box – they’re simple, soft, and just enough of something different to start letting people explore a little bit from their comfort zone.

These fake rose petals are scented, which is nice. They recommend using them at home or even keeping them in this box for surprises on trips and such.

XploreHer Toy Box Subscription Box Review - February 2015 Feather

Bijoux Indiscrets Pom Pom Feather Tickler – value: $11.95

This tickler is soft and has different kinds of feathers in it. I was worried the feathers would fall out all over the place, but even when shaking it they stayed in place!

XploreHer Toy Box Subscription Box Review - February 2015 Lelo

Wanna Be Wild Seductive Soy Massage Candle in Pink Cupcake – 4.7 oz, value: $16.25

Sliquid Organics Serenity Massage Oil in Tahitian Vanilla – 4.2 oz, value: $14

LELO Water-Based Personal Moisturizer – 2.5 oz, value: $10.89

Massage candles aren’t something I’ve been familiar with for too long; they seemed a little intimidating to me at first. Pouring hot wax on your skin seemed scary – but it turns out that they’re amazing! Especially soy ones. The website for this candle says that this soy only melts to 2 degrees above body temperature, and the smell is amazing!

I love the Sliquid brand. It was created because the founder’s wife was one of many women who was sensitive to glycerin and other questionable ingredients commonly found in lubricants and oils. This massage oil (and all their products) is made with zero of any kind of sugar, and this oil also has good things for your skin: aloe vera, vitamin E, certified organic botanical extracts, green tea and hibiscus, flax, and alfalfa, all of which are great for soothing or healing the skin.

This personal lubricant is also glycerin-free, as well as fragrance-free and paraben-free. This brand prides themselves in their all-natural ingredients, which I like.

XploreHer Toy Box Subscription Box Review - February 2015 Items

Verdict: I really liked this box from XploreHer! I feel like they included many things that are good for a little extra pampering or gently pushing the boundaries. I’m glad they included all-natural or better-for-you products, as well. I definitely feel like this is a nice box to add a little extra spice. Barring the fact that I’m not sure they included a theme this month (or if they did, they didn’t make it clear), I liked everything. As far as value goes, everything adds up to over $90 – I’m happy with that value!

What do you think about the XploreHer Toy Box?

I never know how to comment! I did read the review and appreciate the details. I think the first box looks fun. I don’t know if I would have the proper appreciation for additional boxes. It would depend on how much spice is added. I’ll keep reading if you continue to review this sub.

...

It’s funny that a blindfold in a sex box is $7 and eyemasks in regular boxes are $50–70.

Interesting review! I think the theme is “Xploring the sensation of touch” based on their website but I would never have guessed that. Looks like one month is $59.

The monthly cost is listed as $159 here. Should it be $59?
