Jib Gem Subscription Box Review - January 2015 Items

These are the pieces included for the January box. I couldn’t find any brands, tags, or information on them so I can’t find them online.

I do think these pieces are really beautiful. I love the earrings. Normally, I’m not a gold or bold necklace kind of girl but this metal is more of a muted, brass-y color, and the design is so pretty I think I want to try and find a way to make it work in my wardrobe! The quality feels very nice, too. They have some weight to them, which I like.

Verdict: I like this Jib Gem box! Looking through Jib Gem’s past packages, I definitely think this subscription is more for people who really like big, statement, funky jewelry. Like I said – I’m not usually one of those people, but the design of this necklace is just so pretty! It’s hard to do a value assessment, considering there’s no information on this jewelry, but if I were to find these pieces in a department store I definitely think I’d end up paying at least $20 for them, if not more.

What do you think about Jib Gem?

I like silver and not gold/brass. So that’s why I like Rocksbox jewelry rental. I get what I want. If I decide I really like it I can buy at a discount.

Some subscriptions do and some don’t–you just have to email them and ask. Like I only wear silver and I don’t wear earrings; so I can only subscribe to the ones that can accommodate your preferences.

If jewelry subscriptions would all let you specify if you prefer silver or gold, I would definitely subscribe to them, but I would never wear gold so I guess they’re just not really for me.

I agree with you completely. I also dont wear gold tone and would not sub to a box if I could not select gold or silver tone. – I also wish jewelry subscriptions state if their jewelry is nickle free and if the stones are plastic, glass or real stones. I don’t like the idea of wearing plastic beads.
