GoodeBox Eco Beauty Subscription Box Review – February 2015
GoodeBox is a natural and organic beauty box. I’ve been subscribing for a year now, and I’ve found that they usually have a good mix of products.
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Subscription Box: Goodebox
The Cost: $18 a month
The Products: Eco-friendly beauty and wellness products.
Ships to: US only.
Each box comes with cards detailing each product. The product cards also used to include coupon codes for the brands, but now it looks like Goodebox will email subscribers the discounts.
Wild Honey Apothecary Pumpkin Cacao Honey Mask – Value $2.75
I’m not crazy about the Scent 003 candle, but I may try out one of their other scents like the Orange, Clove and Cinnamon Candle.
I actually bought the full size version of this mask a while ago when Birchbox sold it, and I should have waited to sample it first. It was way too sticky for me – I need masks to be relatively easy to remove!
ellovi Tinted Lip Butter – FULL SIZE! Value $5
Elegant Rose Boutique Mini Bath Bombs (2) – Value $2
Fortunately both of these items are wins for me. The lip butter I’ve sampled before and love, and these mini bath bombs have a lovely natural lavender scent.
Healthy hoohoo feminine wipe (3) – Value $1.50
Lotus Moon Hydro Therapy Eye Serum – FULL SIZE! Value $28
These wipes are fragrance, gluten, and paraben free – and they are vegan too.
I’ve tried this eye serum before in another natural beauty box (I think maybe a Teens Turning Green Conscious Collection). I haven’t noticed any major differences in puffiness or dark circles, but it is a very refreshing treatment.
Verdict: I wasn’t a fan of everything in the box this month, but I think it is still a pretty good box. The value is about $42, and I’ll use the majority of the products, so I got my money’s worth.
