Estilo Subscription Box Review – January 2015 Box

Estilo is a new, monthly greeting card subscription service that sends you handmade cards from independent artists all over the world. Each month, they send up to 3 handmade cards, stamps, and seals. For this month, they partnered with the MD Anderson Cancer Center for their Children’s Art Project, where children make cards themselves and proceeds from them go to help the emotional, educational, and recreational needs of the patients. You can read more about this project here.

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Estilo Subscription Box Review – January 2015 Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday Card

Thank You Card

I love different fonts, and this script on this birthday card is so pretty!  I’m not sure I’m a fan of the design of the thank you note, but it’ll probably get used anyway.

Estilo Subscription Box Review – January 2015 Turtle

Turtley Awesome Wood Card from BSpired – value: $10

As soon as I saw this card, I immediately thought of my sister. We love silly puns, and I know this card would make her laugh.

Verdict: I like this month of Estilo alright. I know I’ll use the cards, so that’s a win for me. It’s hard to get an exact estimate of the cards because Estilo gets the designs from different designers each month. But, with the one card I could find being $10, it’s definitely safe to say that this month’s value is at least the $15 cost. Plus, I’m always happy when card/stationery subscriptions include stamps.

What do you think of Estilo?

Does the coupon only work for the first monthly subscription? I tried to purchase a year and it is being declined. Thank you!
