Candy Club Subscription Box Review – January 2015 Info

Every Candy Club Box comes with a cute informational card detailing that month’s featured candies.

Candy Club Subscription Box Review – January 2015 Rainbow

Albanese Sour Gummi Poppers

Haribo Pink Grapefruit Gummi Candy

These sour gummies are my favorite new discovery! I don’t normally love candy that isn’t chocolate, so I’m really glad to know that I will absolutely eat all of these.

I’ve never had grapefruit gummies before! These are interesting. Very sweet, but they’re a different flavor than you usually find in fruity candies.

Candy Club Subscription Box Review – January 2015 Scotty Dogs

Gimbal’s Red Licorice Scottie Dogs

Bonomo Vanilla Turkish Taffy (bonus) – 1.5 oz, value: $.98

I’m not a licorice fan, but these licorice pieces are adorable! I’ll be happy about passing these along to a friend.

Candy Club Subscription Box Review – January 2015 Red Hots

Atomic Fireballs

Fireballs aren’t a favorite of mine, but they’re actually a huge hit with some of my family – they’ll love the fact that they included about what looks to be about 30 of them!

Verdict: I thought this Candy Club box was very well designed, packaged, and curated. I found some new treats I love, as well as some old favorites of my family to share (good thing, too – I couldn’t eat three pounds of candy alone!). I couldn’t get a specific value for the box, since nothing but the taffy has an exact weight listed, but their website says that each box has about a $60 retail value.

What do you think of this month’s Candy Club box?

Your “first box” is always the welcome box that Liz first reviewed, and the every subscription follows the same sequence, not by month.
I always do this as a gift box using a coupon, and even though it’s always the same box, and I love sharing it. I would absolutely subscribe at $20.00 total a month, but I can’t justify it until their pricing structure changes.
If you follow their Facebook page, you can usually find $15.00 coupons. That makes it $16.00 a box, which I’m happy to do. Right now they have a one-off Valentine box that I did order, $35.00 including shipping. I wasn’t going to order it, but there are a couple higher end items that made it a little special and the perfect Valentine treat. Liz, maybe they ought to send you that box to review!

Holly, Thanks for the pricing update! I totally spaced and forgot to update that myself. And thanks for the heads up about finding coupons on their Facebook page! =]

Haley, I totally spaced that you reviewed this one, not Liz. 🙂
I love this box… One more thing, they don’t allow coupons on the one-off Valentine box.

I’m not sure I get how this box works. I subscribed last month and when my box came, it was the same stuff that I saw people had received all the way back in August. I decided not to continue the subscription because I didn’t want to be receiving old candy, but now it seems like maybe they send the same boxes in order regardless of when you subscribe…? Anyone know?

They do! Their candy definitely is not old. I think their order sequence may just be similar for everyone, if not exactly the same.

I researched some unboxing and spoke to customer service after the same thing happened to me. They do have a certain order they follow no matter when you start.

This box is the second box you would receive with a subscription. The prices on the website are slightly higher and shipping is extra.

I can’t believe that this is valued at $60. Im not sure I’d believe it if you said it was valued at $10…
