Birchbox Man Subscription Box Review – February 2015
Birchbox Man is a monthly grooming and lifestyle subscription box for men. Their lifestyle items tend to be formal (think ties, cufflinks, etc), so keep that in mind when subscribing!
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Subscription Box: Birchbox Man
The Cost: $20 a month ($16.25 a month with annual subscription)
The Products: Men’s grooming and lifestyle products.
Ships to: US only
Each box comes with a card that details each item included in your box for that month.
Ernest Supplies Awake & Exfoliate Body Bar – 1 oz Value $2.50
Brickell Purifying Charcoal Face Wash – 1 oz Value $3
I love the scent of this body bar, the ingredients, and the fact that it has built in exfoliation – I’m stealing this one for myself.
I’m pretty tempted to keep this cleanser too – it is made with natural and organic ingredients, and I always like charcoal as a cleanser.
Malin + Goetz Peppermint Shampoo – 1 oz Value $2.50
Rite in the Rain Field Flex All-Weather Memo Book – Value $4.95
This shampoo has a pure, and refreshing peppermint scent. I love it but I’m going to let my husband use this one. (I don’t use any hair products that have sulfates in the ingredients since my hair is color treated). And also I’m totally hogging the products in this box!
This notebook is waterproof, so I imagine it is great for outdoor activities, or anyone who is spill-prone!
This is Ground Cord Taco Grande 3-Pack – Value $30
These leather “tacos” hold headphones, charger cables, etc. I don’t think I would have spent $30 on them, but I know we will use them, and I’m happy to get them in a $20 box.
Verdict: This box has a retail value of about $43. I’m good with the value, and we’ll use every single item, so that’s what really counts. Plus I love that all the grooming products they sent this month have such wonderful natural scents!
