PashBox Style Quarterly Subscription Box Review - Dec 2014 Box

Style Quarterly by PäshBox is a limited edition, themed collection of fashion and beauty surprises from independent, small businesses. You won’t see makeup in this box, but you will see a mix of fashion accessories, bath + body items, skincare, hair care, and/or nail products in every box.

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

PashBox Style Quarterly Subscription Box Review - Dec 2014 Winter

This sticker was part of their packaging – I thought it was cute!

PashBox Style Quarterly Subscription Box Review - Dec 2014 Info PashBox Style Quarterly Subscription Box Review - Dec 2014 Item Info

The box includes an info card detailing each item.

PashBox Style Quarterly Subscription Box Review - Dec 2014 Chocolate

Ticket Chocolate Hot Chocolate on a stick in 3-Chili, Belgian Milk Chocolate, and Salted Caramel - .31 lbs each, value: $4.50 each, $13.50 total

I’ve seen hot-chocolates-on-sticks in a few different subscription boxes, and I’m excited to try these! It’s basically the equivalent of melting a chocolate bar into hot milk, just made more convenient with the stick to stir with, too.

PashBox Style Quarterly Subscription Box Review - Dec 2014 Scarf

Boucle Knit Infinity Scarf – value: $19.99?

The info card says you can find this scarf on Modcloth, but I wasn’t able to. I like the patchwork design on this scarf a lot, and it’s really soft.

PashBox Style Quarterly Subscription Box Review - Dec 2014 Socks

Elucx Rose Milk Bath Soak – 10.4 oz, value: $31 (CAD)

Cozy Cable Knit Socks – value: $6?

This bath soak looks so luxurious – you can actually see bits of rose petals in the mix!

I’m always excited to get cozy socks in subscription boxes, so these are another win for me.

PashBox Style Quarterly Subscription Box Review - Dec 2014 Candle

Tokyo Factory Fig & Vanilla Soy Candle – 4 oz, value: $10?

Snow Drop Han Cream by the Soap & Paper Factory – 1 oz, value: $4.95

This candle smells amazing (Vanilla & Fig!) and I love soy candles. I can only find listings for an 8 oz version of this candle online, and the one in the box is only 4 oz –so I just halved the price to get the value.

Brown Mug – value: $5?

I accidentally got a little mixed up in the midst of photo-taking (oops! Sorry!) but the brown mug in the top left of the item picture is the only item that I didn’t take an individual photo of. It’s also not listed on the info card, so I don’t know if it got left off of there, too, or if it’s some kind of bonus item to be paired with the hot cocoas. Either way, I’m always happy to have another mug!

Verdict: Overall, I’m really happy with the Style Quarterly Box by PashBox! I love that it’s a box centered around fashion accessories and personal care – it felt like a treat to myself when I opened it. I also think they made a smart call by not including makeup because there are so many makeup boxes – by not including makeup, they make sure they don’t overlap with so many other boxes and can really make themselves unique. As far as value goes, everything adds up to over $90! I’m definitely happy with that value.

What do you think about the PashBox Style Quarterly box?

WOW. I am impressed with my first box. There are 8 items (including the bonus one) and I love every one. I will you all of them. As I am going to Europe next month some of the items will really come in handy

LOL – I had no idea I even subscribed to this

Ooooo, did you get the March box? If so, what’s in it?! I signed up a few weeks ago but was sadly too late to get March. My first box will be June’s “Summer Nights” 🙂

I got my March box Friday. I am not a reviewer, but here is the list:
standard Baggu bag
Rifle Paper Company Travel Journal
An Elephant Paisley square scarf by “David and Young”
Box Naturals Luxe Towlettes-box of 12
One Love Orgnanics heart-shaped cleansing sponge and foaming cleanser
PUUR Body Lemon and Vanilla Body and Hair Mist

Mary

I missed March too but signed up for June. Really hoping to see a review of the March box!

PA Anna

They are still in business. March’s box might be shipping this weekend. It normally ships the last weekend in March which is why there is no March review yet.

The new website is www dot stylequarterly dot co

June’s theme is “Summer Nights”

This company appears to be out of business. The website no longer works and I couldn’t find any info except reviews of the December box
Does anyone know what is going on?

They are known as Style Quarterly now, and their 2nd box (March) is supposed to begin shipping maybe within the next week as noted on their FB page. March has been sold out but they will begin the June sign-ups on 1 April.

I’m hoping to see more fashion items in future months since the scarf is arguably the only one in this box (I do love socks but I don’t count them as fashion accessories). Hopefully this will become a good replacement for what Social Bliss set out to be a year ago. While I love personal care/bath & body items I really just want a more fashion centric sub (but not a clothing sub).

This is my ideal winter box but I missed out. Hopefully spring will be just as good!

Wow, this box looks really great. I love that scarf!

Does the mug not remind you of a mug from a diner? It looks like a mug from my local Denny’s. I’m very interested in this box, but $50 is rather steep, I’m gona stick with Little Lace Box for a while.

Looks like it is a really good box, but it is acutally $49.90 a box.

If you do the semi-annual with the MSA15 code, it ends up being about $37.32/box (including shipping), vs about $42.42 monthly (with the code). Still debating…

I loved everything in this box! I believe the mug was a bonus, they mentioned it on one of the cards. That rose milk bath soak is so amazing and those hot chocolate sticks were so good. I’d never heard of them before receiving this box.

…or maybe they didn’t mention it, can’t remember. I just assumed the mug was a bonus.

Looks like a fun box. If I subscribe today, will I get this box or next quarters’ box?

Haley

Jay, if you subscribe now, you will get the March box. =]

I REALLY liked this box but was too late to get it– my sub will begin with the March mailing. This also reminded me a lot of the November Little Lace Box which I also missed…
