Your Bijoux Box Jewelry Subscription Box Review – Dec 2014 Box

Your Bijoux Box is a monthly jewelry subscription box for women. With every box you get 3 pieces of jewelry picked by Your Bijoux Box stylists. (This is not a customized box – everyone gets the same 3 pieces, however I believe you can request no earrings if you email them).

Your Bijoux Box sent us this box for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Your Bijoux Box Jewelry Subscription Box Review – Dec 2014 Bracelet

Onyx Blossom Bracelet

This is a stretchy bracelet. When it comes to costume jewelry I prefer stretchy bracelets in most cases since they are much easier to put on, and I’m not so concerned about them holding up for years. I love the black and graphite stones on this bracelet – it is probably one of my favorite Your Bijoux Box pieces to date. (FYI – my wrists are on the small side, and this bracelet just fits without putting strain on the elastic thread, so I would say it runs small).

Your Bijoux Box Jewelry Subscription Box Review – Dec 2014 Earrings

Smokey Cobalt Earrings

I prefer smaller studs to longer earrings, so these are my style. (And I like the mix of blue stone with iridescent blue stones).

Your Bijoux Box Jewelry Subscription Box Review – Dec 2014 Necklace

Onyx Fan Necklace

This necklace has a good weight to it, and it’s a statement piece without a ton of sparkle thanks to the black stone gems. I think it’s really gorgeous and very wearable. Here’s a better detail shot:

Verdict: This month of Your Bijoux Box matches my personal style really well – every piece is very wearable for me. I think I will be wearing the necklace and bracelet a lot this holiday! What do you think of the December Your Bijoux Box pieces?

  1. I love Your Bijoux Box! It’s really helping me branch out with my jewelry. I dont have pierced ears, so they always send me a different awesome peice. This month they gave me a triangle necklace, the chain came off one of the O rings attaching the pendant-a super easy fix-but they sent me a whole new necklace! They have THE BEST customer service! I sent the email, and two days later the replacement was in my mailbox. Its great when companies take the time to acknowledge their customers 🙂
My one teensy complaint is that the bracelets do run small.

  2. I loved every piece as well. It was the perfect holiday box!

  3. This box was a complete miss for me 🙁 I feel like the quality isn’t the same as past boxes. Part of the finish is chipping off the fan necklace in several spots and my bracelet came so overstretched (the elastic must be dry rot) that there are gaps between all the beads. I have tiny wrists – so not only does it look bad but since it’s so stretched it’s too large. This is the first month where I won’t ever use a single piece. So bummed because it’s usually a win for me.

  4. The bracelet is pretty. It reminds me of snowflakes.

  5. On the necklace, I think it looks odd that the three “fans” on the left have the “flower” part above on the left and the two on the right have it on the right. If there were six fans and the three on the right had it on the right, or if the one fan in the middle had it right in the center, the necklace would be really nice. It just looks wrong to me the way it is… The bracelet, though, is one of the coolest I’ve seen!

    • I totally agree about the symmetry of this necklace being off but I am so tired of this look that even if it were better designed, I’m not sure I would wear it. I don’t care for the elastic stone bracelet, it looks cheap and the earrings are simply bad.
In my opinion, the items in this sub box are beginning to look the same month after month. I wish they would get away from so many big statement necklaces and start adding some delicate long layering pieces, which are more on trend now anyway. This is my last month and unless some edgier and more current pieces are introduced, I won’t be resubscribing. Check the better fashion blogger pages and you will notice that they are NOT accessorizing with this costumey looking jewelry but with more sophisticated looking pieces such as delicate, long and layered necklaces, stacked bracelets and cuffs and petite stacked rings. Come on YBB think outside the box (no pun intended) and give us something forward and fresh.

      • It looks like they are planning long layered necklaces soon from there Instagram feed:)

  6. I think that it’s a great box! I would wear each of those pieces a lot! Sigh. This is making me want this sub, too, of course. I just have so much jewelry already. I think it has an amazing value for the pieces you recv’d! Amazing. You will look great, Liz! Enjoy.
