Della Coin Purse – Value $12
Della Headwrap – Value $16
This company is new to me, and I’m impressed with their mission:
Della is a Los Angeles-based fashion line that is changing the way people shop. We are a woman-owned and woman-run business working directly with a community in West Africa, providing jobs, education and skills training to our employees. We are driven by awareness of the need for a global market that provides socially-responsible, quality products. We are not a charity; we are a business done – and doing – “right.”
The headband is a little tight on me, but most hats and headbands are – so I think this will fit most people well!
Quirky Zen Cosmetics Makeup Organizer – Value $13
This is the item I am most excited about in the box. I actually have been using a Quirky Pen Zen Organizer to store my makeup brushes up until now, but this is even better. (I like how the design allows for different brush/handle sizes.
Nature Box Lone Star Snack Mix – Value $4
Nature Box Cinnamon Swirl Kettle Kernels – Value $4
I love Nature Box snacks, so it is killing me a little bit that the Lone Star Snack Mix contains wheat, and the Cinnamon Swirl Kettle Kernels contain dairy – both things I can’t eat. (We just got our own Nature Box subscription today though, so I definitely have enough snacks!)
Dollar Shots Club Energy Shots in Mixed Berry – Value $3 total
These contain FD&C Red 40 dye, which I am allergic to, so that’s another item I couldn’t try this month. (Not that I really drink energy shots anyway). I remember drinking Red Bull in college though, so I’m sure these will be appreciated by the target demographic.
Verdict: This box has a value of about $52 – one of the best values I’ve seen for Pijon Box! I like that the included some fun fashion items, a good organizational tool, and some study snacks/drinks – it seems like a good college care package mix to me.
