Mission Cute Subscription Box Review – December 2014

I personally like the scarf. I fold it so I mostly see the plaid and there’s just a little polka dot peaking out. The calendar is hanging on my fridge. I love the magnetic clip that it came with. My grandma has these clips hanging on her fridge for shopping lists, recipes, photos. It immediately made me think of her. <3
My FAV item was the lotion. I love the ingredients and the scent was really nice. I say "was" because it became my everyday lotion and is already gone. I think I'll be buying more in the near future! Don't forget, they donate FIFTY PERCENT of proceeds to a different charity every month. Amazing.

I received the pickle ornament as a gift from a friend a few years back. We’re both in AA. She put a little note with it saying, “once you’re pickled you can never go back.” So it’s also a cute gift to support someone in sobriety.

I haven’t heard of the Christmas pickle tradition until this year. I can’t picture my 6 yo and 15 yo calmly looking through the tree LOL. More like they would fight with each other to see who can find it first. I’m not sure about the scarf mixing patterns. Also, I did not know that MissionCute has an online store. I enjoyed reading the review.

This box does is not worth the price to me, based on the items I’d use if I got the box. I also don’t like the curation, it seems a bit off to me. If the price point was $32 with shipping I would consider signing up. Yet $39 is a bit to high for me. Some of the items are cute, the pickle was a great idea, and the lotion also a great idea. The scarf reminds me of more fall. The ring is cute. If they lowered the price, or increased the value and added more items I might consider signing up.

It is a cute box, I like most everything (the ring isn’t for me either)…. but I think everything is a little over-valued. The calendar is not worth $29 to me personally, because there is no room for appointments, etc to be jotted down….

I think I’ll watch this box for a few months and see if I like their trend because the items are cute.

My family has always done the hide the pickle on the tree tradition. I have been told it is both a German and Spanish tradition. are the kids in my family would always compete to get the pickle and we would get usually some money if we won. Even though there’s no more children in my family we all still do it as kind of a joke my cousin found the pickle this year.
