Hazel Lane Mini Explorer Subscription Box Review – Nov 2014 Info

This month the destination is Nashville, Tennessee. Each box comes with a “boarding ticket” detailing the items included.

Hazel Lane Mini Explorer Subscription Box Review – Nov 2014 Tote

Project 615 Legends Tote – Value $15

Project 615 is amazing charitable online shop in Tennessee:

Project 615 was first formed in the summer of 2010 after co-founders Derek Evans & Matt Blinco visited one of the nations largest homeless communities, Skid Row, in downtown Los Angeles, California.  Both Derek and Matt realized that they wanted to do something about the ever increasing homeless population locally back in Nashville. They decided to start Project 615 as a fundraising and awareness effort for the homeless.

I think this tote is very appropriate for a Nashville box, and FYI the white markings on it are just from the soap also included in the box – I should have taken the picture after I wiped the tote clean.

Hazel Lane Mini Explorer Subscription Box Review – Nov 2014 Soap

GooGoo Cluster – Value $1.50

Music City Scrubs Bar Soap – Value $6

This soap is made with orange peel and has a subtle citrus scent – I love it. And this GooGoo Cluster candy bar looks insane!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $22.50. The cost is $24.99, so the value is almost there, but from what I can tell Hazel Lane is more about special products and curation than high value – so keep that in mind if you are thinking about subscribing!

  1. I need to look into project 615! I have a baby named Waylon (big country music fans), and am now dying to have this tote to use as a diaper bag… Super adorable and super jealous!

  2. I live in Nashville and project 615 is truly a great organization. I love all of their clothing options. Easily the coolest way to rep my hometown and very cool to see them included in this box.

  3. Goo Goo’s are AWESOME!!!

  4. LOVE that bag! When my sister & I run across old country songs on the radio, we have a running joke: no matter who it is, she says “ya think it’s Hank?” And I say, “no, definitely Merle!”
