The Fantasy Box is a subscription service for adults, designed to provide a little “kick” into your romantic relationship. They offer a variety of fantasy-themed boxes to choose from, each containing step-by-step instructions and products to help facilitate an intimate and special date night.
This is a review of the platinum-level Spa Fantasy Box.

The Subscription Box: The Fantasy Box
The Cost: The Fantasy Box has many options in order to give you all the power to customize everything exactly how you want it. Here’s the breakdown of your purchase options:
- Subscription: Fantasy Box Subscriptions go in a specific order, so everyone begins with the same box, etc. You can choose to receive your boxes monthly, or every other month. The cost is $159 for the Platinum Box (5-7 products), $59 for the Classic Box (4-6 products), or $34 for the Essentials Box (3-4 products). (This Spa box is the 5th box in the subscription.)
- Bundles (3-Box Series): The Fantasy Box also offers mini-subscriptions that explore specific themes that you can order here.
- Individual purchase: Each of their boxes are available as an individual purchase. (On its own, this box costs $40 for the essentials level, $65 for the classic level, and $170 for the platinum level.)
The Products: 5-7 luxury products from high-end brands. With Fantasy Box, you also get to customize your experience, including lingerie colors, toy preferences, fantasy progression, etc.
Ships To: US and Canada, but if you live internationally you contact their customer service and they will work with you to figure out the additional shipping costs!
The first thing I noticed about the Fantasy Box was that it came in a completely inconspicuous brown box. The second thing I noticed was that the actual, white-and-black box was extremely high-quality and even had a magnetic closure.
The goal of the Fantasy Box is to turn the box into an intimate date night for you and your partner. It comes with informational cards to help the two of you communicate and give you step-by-step direction to help you live out a fantasy. The theme of this box is a spa fantasy; the “For Him” card is labeled “Mr. Pamper” and the “For Her” card is labeled “Mrs. Refresh.”
Even though the cards are set up to be a specific pamper session for the woman, it’s really easy (and encouraged!) to take some liberties and customize the experience to be however you like. In this box, the cards give step-by-step instructions for incorporating each item in the box into a nice massage for her (or him, or each other).
Rene Rofe Darling Lace Chemise + G-String Set – value: $12.99
This is a beautiful set of lingerie. It’s so soft and the lace part is see-through (hard to tell in the photo) so you get a classy peek of some skin, too. When I looked up the value, I was really surprised it was so inexpensive because of how nice this chemise feels!
Male Power Black Bamboo Boxers – value: $23
My husband absolutely loves these boxers. He never knew that bamboo could be made into fabric – which it can! Bamboo fabric is crazy soft and tends to stay cool to the touch (I’ve seen pillowcases, dresses, sheets, etc. made out of bamboo).
Jimmy Jane Contour M Ceramic Massage Stone – value: $25
Jimmy Jane Afterglow Natural Massage Oil Candle in Dark Vanilla – 4.5 oz, value: $29
This ceramic massage stone can be used cool (to invigorate) or warm (for relaxation). It’s something I didn’t already have, and I like it because it makes massages easier/less tiring on your hands.
The candle smells amazing! I’m a big fan of anything vanilla scented. Massage candles are new to me, but the thorough instructions for best use and easy design made it simple to feel comfortable trying it out. The only thing I don’t specifically care for is that they recommend to let it burn long enough to evenly melt the oils on top (about 30 minutes). While this works well for a planned evening of pampering, if you and your partner just want to give each other some massages, or massage as a means of warming up for other sexy activities, 30 minutes is a long time to wait to be able to use the oils. I’m more likely to grab for a regular bottle of massage oil.
Here’s a close up on the candle and massage stone (you can see the candle has a little spout corner in its design).
Set of 8 Tea Candles – value: $2.40
Of course, candles and rose petals are always an essential touch for a sensual evening, so they included some in the box, as well!
Jimmy Jane Hello Touch Wearable Vibrator – value: $79
This wearable vibrator is described as one of the smallest fingertip vibrators available. I also really like that it is medical-grade silicone, waterproof (but not submergible), and phthalate-free. (Keep reading for more information and photos.)
As you can see here, the vibration pods stay on your fingers with stretchy silicone straps, and the pods are connected to a wrist band. The on/off switch is located on the battery pack, which the wrist band indicates for easy manipulation.
The vibrator itself is super versatile – you can have the vibration pods on the front of your fingertips, or the back (to vibrate the fingers themselves), thumb and forefinger, front of your mid-fingers, or really however else you find a way to use it.
Personally, I think this has a great idea behind it, but I have a couple issues with it. First of all, I found the power buttons to be extremely difficult to actually push – I couldn’t feel any bumps for the buttons or anything (the buttons are underneath a protective silicon layer), and when I finally managed to get the on/off switch to respond, I didn’t feel any definitive clicking or anything in response. The second thing is that the wrist band – while very stretchy – is still quite loose on my small wrists, so it seems like it would be difficult to manage to keep the wires out of the way, which is my third issue. I feel like the wires could tend to get in the way or wrap around your hands weird or something. I don’t know, I just feel like this is a vibrator is one that probably has a learning curve and is likely not a great one for beginners, either.
Verdict: All in all, I’m happy with this Fantasy Box. It doesn’t feel trashy or gimmick-y at all, the products can all be permanent additions to your sexual experiences on their own, and I really appreciate Fantasy Box’s focus on actually enhancing a relationship through their service. With the exception of the fact that the vibrator initially seems a little difficult to use, I like all of the items included! The cost of the Platinum box of this Spa Fantasy is $170 individually (or $149 as part of the Platinum-level subscription) and the products within the box are valued at just about $172, so I’m pretty happy with that value.
