Celebrate American Made Subscription Box Review - Nov 2014 Everyday Box

The USA Everyday Box from Celebrate American Made is a quarterly subscription box dedicated to introducing you to companies who benefit America’s job market by making high-quality American-made products.

This review is of their USA Everyday Box (which includes items ranging from snacks to home goods, pets, and more), but their website also shows that they plan to begin a second subscription box called American Made Beauty soon!

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Celebrate American Made Subscription Box Review - Nov 2014 Info

Celebrate American Made included an informational card with factoids about buying American on one side, and a map of the states on the other (indicating where the featured makers are in the US).

Celebrate American Made Subscription Box Review - Nov 2014 Chapstick

Peppermint Chapstick from Brigit True Organics - .15 oz, value: $5

Coupon for Grandpa Bardeen’s Family Pumpkin Carving Set

This pumpkin-carving set is designed around the method of using a paper with a design printed on it and poking small holes along the lines of the design, then removing the paper and cutting out the rest of the design. This method is supposed to be an easier and safer method to carve intricate designs. I think it’s a cool idea!

Celebrate American Made Subscription Box Review - Nov 2014 Sweet

Simply Divine Angel Cookie – 1 cookie, value: $.89

Surf Sweets Fruity Bears Gummies - .5 oz, value: $1.83

I’m familiar with Surf Sweets snacks from other subscription boxes, but I like them so I was glad to see them featured.

Celebrate American Made Subscription Box Review - Nov 2014 Soap

Olea Vert soap samples in Lavender + Oatmeal and Peppermint + Almond

I love the way both of these soap samples smell! Plus, they’re vegan and have no added dyes.

Tattoo Sales Tattoo Samples

Kidecals Love Roses Small Keycals Keyboard Set – value: $9

These keyboard decals are so pretty! Even though they’re designed for Apple computers, all but a couple fit my (PC) laptop perfectly. The floral design is so pretty – I love it!

This tattoo sampler pack had a surprising number of tattoos in it – and had all kinds of designs from owls, to Frozen, Christmas ones, cars, pirates, etc. I counted 23 tattoos in all, which is really nice because I think they each go for about $.60 on average on their website.

Verdict: I really liked this USA Everyday box! I thought the variety of items was nice, and the value adds up to just under $17, without even including any value of the tattoos.

What do you think about the November Celebrate American Made USA Everyday box?

I’m looking forward to the American Made Beauty box. Any idea if it will be the same price as this one?

Haley – You asked for suggestions on the other review. I think in this review it would be nice to see the soap outside the packaging, the tatoos, and the decals on your keyboard. Thank you for taking the time to review boxes. They are always interesting to read.

Anna – Thanks for the feedback! I definitely thought the same thing after submitting the review, but unfortunately it was after having passed along a few things in the box. I’ll be sure to start being extra thorough about showing the details of each item in my reviews! =]

What a good idea for a box! $15 every 3 months is definitely a good price point. This would be a cute little gift to surprise a patriotic person with.

I love those keyboard decals!

It would be good to get the carving set for next year. Wonder if you can use it on watermelon

We bought Gramps Bardeen’s pumpkin carving set from a fair earlier this year and it was amazing. Even though I am in my 30s this was the first time ever that I carved a pumpkin and I did a pretty intricate one. My fiance was really impressed since I have never done it before. The tools were super easy to use too. Just thought I would let you know 🙂

There must be different variations of the box. I liked what someone else received in their box – chocolates and a scrub along with the keyboard stickers etc.

Is the item from Your True Nature missing or am I not awake yet?

Sneaky Burrito

Isn’t it a little strange to have something related to pumpkin carving in a November box? Especially when you have to buy/order it separately (so it will come even later)?

Haley

Sneaky – that’s a great point that I hadn’t thought of! I agree.
