Bluum Subscription Box Review & 50% Off Coupon – Dec 2014
Bluum is a monthly subscription box for babies and toddlers. Their boxes are super customized – specific to the month of your child’s age! The box I’m reviewing is for a 25 month old.
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Subscription Box: Bluum Box
The Cost: $29
COUPON: Use coupon code SHARE50 to save 50% off your first box!
The Products: Items selected for baby’s age, plus gifts for mom too!
Ships to: US
FYI – Bluum doesn’t include info cards in their boxes – instead they email you the details on each of the items included in your box.
Squirting Fish Bath Book – Value $7
First Time Dentist Book – Value $5
I think Bluum is the only baby/kid subscription that sometimes sends out two books at a time. (I guess one is a bath book though, so I’m not sure if that’s a different category all together).
Ke-Kaa Organic Tights – Value $15
EZ-Sox – Value $10
These tights are made with 80% organic cotton, 17% nylon and 3% elastane. (I love the brown and turquoise color combo!)
These socks have reinforced loops on both sides that allow kids to get a good rip on them when putting them on. They also have seamless toes and non-skid bottoms. Plus the faces on all the socks help kids know which side is for the top of their foot. It looks like a lot of thought went into the design of these socks! (80% combed cotton, 17% polyester, 3% spandex).
Lauri Crepe Rubber Puzzle – Value $10
This rubber puzzle comes with a storage tray and an assembly pattern on the inside of the tray to guide kids on where to put the pieces.
Verdict: This box has a value of about $47. I think that’s a great value for the $29 a month cost. Sometimes to me Bluum boxes can seem a little random, (getting two books, getting socks and tights), but the value is almost always there even if it doesn’t feel super curated.
