The Boodle Box Subscription Box Review - October 2014 Halloween

This is a review of the Boodle One Box (for ages 5-10). This month, it’s Halloween themed!

The Boodle Box Subscription Box Review - October 2014 Info

Every box comes with an informational card detailing the featured items.

The Boodle Box Subscription Box Review - October 2014 Ghost

Rhinestone Ghost Necklace – value: $7.50

Hipster Houndstooth Cross Body Purse – value: $14.99

I think this little ghost necklace is so cute, and definitely an age-appropriate piece of Halloween jewelry!

The Boodle Box Subscription Box Review - October 2014 Headband

Headband with Bow – value: $6.99

Black and White Chevron Infinity Scarf – value: $15

I love infinity scarves, and this one is made of jersey so it’s really soft and cozy! (Boodle Box’s card says the headband is valued at $10, but they sell it for $6.99 on their site, so I adjusted the value from that.)

The Boodle Box Subscription Box Review - October 2014 Skull

Funny Side Up Silicone Egg Mold by Fred – value: $9.95

This skull egg/pancake mold is definitely something I thought was such a good idea to include in this box! It’s a great idea to add a little fun for family breakfasts in October!

The Boodle Box Subscription Box Review - October 2014 Ring

Skeleton Hand Ear Cuff – value: $7.99

I know a there’s definitely a demographic of people out there who have voiced their wishes for clip-on earrings in subscription boxes, so I thought this ear cuff was a smart inclusion – everyone can wear it, pierced ears or not! (Again, the info card says $12.99 but their site sells it for $7.99, so I adjusted the price.)

The Boodle Box Subscription Box Review - October 2014 RIP

Candy Corn Flashlight Necklace – vaue: $.50

Fantasy Maker R.I.P. Nail Polish in Rest In Pieces – value: $1.99

Halloween Smencil – value: $1.69

Flashlights are always a good thing for kids to have on hand while trick-or-treating! Also, I’m really excited to use this nail polish! It’s black and has small, pink glitter in it. It’s a really pretty formula.

Verdict: I always seem to be happy with the Boodle Box. The curation is always age-appropriate, fun, and things I know I would have enjoyed when I was a young girl! The value adds up to $66.51 based from their info card and shop, which is an awesome value!

I just gifted my daughter with the Boodle Box 2, for older girls for her 11th birthday. She loved everything in the box but thought the ghost necklace was a little too childish for her. I promptly traded it here on the swap section 🙂
But she really loved the watch!! So far we really like this box!!

My daughters get Boodle Boxes and LOVE them. They love them so much they do unboxing videos of their boxes themselves and we post them on youtube so our friends and family can see them! My 8 year old gets the boodle box 1 which is the box that was reviewed here, and my almost 11 year old gets the boodle box 2 which in the one that had the watch in it. They both get so excited when their boxes come, and I have been thrilled with both the curation and the value of the boxes they have received! A really great value!

My box was a little different then this one. I got a watch, a snake ear cuff, eye candy eye shadows, Black and White Chevron Infinity Scarf , the nail polish, the skeleton mold, the ghost necklace. This was a well curated box. Even though it is meant for teens, I sub monthly to it for myself. I like it better then most the non teen boxes I get. Better curated, more fun, nicer items then some of boxes out there.

I think the boodle box is great and always really well curated. I have been looking at subscriptions for my friends daughter for christmas/her birthday and I think this is going to be the winner.
