Tea Box Express Subscription Review – November 2014

Salem Baking Co. Moravian Pumpkin Spice Cookies – 2.75, value: $4.99

Art of Tea – Tali’s Masala Chai – 3 oz, value: $10.99

These pumpkin spice cookies are pretty tasty, and I think they’re a great addition to the theme. Also, I haven’t had a whole lot of experience with Chai tea, but this tea has really great reviews on their website so I’m excited to try it out!

Tea Box Express Subscription Review – November 2014 Spoon

Bamboo Tea Infuser – value: ~$4

Perfect Tea Spoon – value: ~$4.25

I’ve never tried a bamboo tea infuser before! Have any of you? I wonder if it makes a difference in how the tea tastes compared to the metal, mesh ones I’m familiar with. I guess we’ll see!

It may be silly, but this spoon is one of the things I’m most excited about in this box! I’ve been looking for a cute scoop and an easier way to measure loose-leaf teas.

Tea Box Express Subscription Review – November 2014 Spice

Big Train Spiced Chai Tea Latte Mix - two 1.2 oz pouches, value: $1.36 total

The back of these pouches offer instructions for making this hot or iced, and both look like they take very little time! These will be great for a quick tea fix.

Verdict: I know this is just their second box, but I get excited seeing my Tea Box Express in my mail! Tea and coffee are things I can’t get enough of, plus these kinds of boxes tend to have things that make awesome gifts, too.

What do you think about Tea Box Express?

I like the box, I just wish it was a better value. I got a total of $25.59 so paying $25.50 plus $5.99 shipping, so at $31.49 the box isn’t saving much if any.

Definitely interested in this and pondering subbing. I have no idea why I’m so excited about that spoon – usually with my tea I kind of just dump some into my strainer.

I loved the first box – I thought it was really well curated. (Got that one from Liz. 🙂 My teabag holder broke in transit and I contacted them and had a new one in my mailbox two days later. Really looking forward to this one – I’m gifting the first one*, but may have to keep most of this for myself.

*except for the bumblebee cookie. I ate that immediately.
