Candy Dish Club is a monthly candy subscription box. Specifically, they aim to make sure everyone has some sweet treats with them at work, both for themselves and to share with others. Every month, you will be sent three different bags of candy which you select from their site. You choose three kinds of candy when you sign up and will continue to get those candies every month unless you manually login and chance your selection. (You can browse their candy selection here)
With your first month’s delivery, you also receive a special candy dish and scoop to keep your candy in!
This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Subscription: Candy Dish Club
The Cost: $30 a month
The Products: 3 packages of candy which you choose, plus a candy dish + scoop with your first order.
Ships to: US
Every month’s delivery includes a card providing you with a link to get $10 when people sign up through you, reminding you how to change your candy, and letting you know that they skip any kind of fancy packaging in order to keep costs down for everyone – including you.
The three candies I chose were Milk Chocolate Peanut Clusters (8.5 oz), Dark Chocolate Buckeyes (7.25 oz), and Dark Chocolate Mini Pretzels (8.5 oz) (can you tell I’m a chocolate lover?).
I have to say that I was seriously impressed with the quality of the candy! I tend to prefer more gourmet chocolates (as opposed to, say, Hershey chocolates or something) and these all taste great and have an awesome texture. I often pass bags of candy from subscription boxes along to friends or family, but my husband and I will definitely work our way through all of these!
This is the divided candy dish and scoop they send with your first box. It’s cute, reusable, and I think it’s a great idea that they include this for you to keep on a desk or counter! The only thing I wish were different would be to have some kind of compartment on the side to have a clean place to keep the scoop, but you can also just set it on top of the lid, too.
The Verdict: I was impressed by Candy Dish Club. Their concept is really cute, I feel l like the portion sizes are nice, and I adore the idea of having a candy dish like this for displaying treats! Also, like I said earlier, their candies (or at least these chocolatey ones I tried) are really delicious and make me want to try out more items from their selection. (FYI – in their FAQ they also say that they include a cooler pack to prevent melting if the weather is supposed to be over 80 degrees in your area when they ship.)
