Tea Box Express sent us this box for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Each box has a card on the inside, with a description of the theme and items in the box.

Tea Box Express Subscription Review - October 2014 Teatula

Savannah Bee Co. Tea Honey – 3 oz, value: $5.50

Teatulia Black Tea – 16 tea bags (1.1 oz), value: $8.99

These items are both 100% natural or 100% organic, so I’m happy about that. I drink tons of tea once the weather starts turning in the fall, and I’m definitely looking forward to using these.

Tea Box Express Subscription Review - October 2014 Bee

Bumble Bee Shortbread Cookie from Corso’s Cookies – 1 cookie, $5.63

Tea Pot Honey Dipper – value: $3.75

Yellow Tea Bag Rest – value: $2.80

I couldn’t find the exact tea bag rest online, but I did find a white one that looks really similar, so I based my value estimation from that.

This cookie is so super cute and it was really big, too. Their website says each cookie measures about 4-5 inches across!

Tea Box Express Subscription Review - October 2014 Quote

I’m going to post this little print in my kitchen for me to see every day, but there’s also a place on the back labeled “my happy list,” to help you focus on the happy things in your life.

Verdict: The first box from Tea Box Express promotes two of my most favorite things: Tea and positivity! The theme is really well done and cohesive. I’m so excited to use everything in this box (the cookie’s already been eaten!) and even if I weren’t going to use them myself, this box would make a sweet gift. The value is a little over $26, which more than breaks even with the cost of the box.

What do you think about the Tea Box Express? Are you planning on snagging a debut box for yourself or a friend?

  1. I just got some great customer service from Andrea at Tea Box Express. I’d decided to subscribe, but happened to go onto their Twitter feed and saw that 10/1 was the last day to order to get this particular box, which I *loved*. I contacted them via their website to see if it was still possible to get one of these boxes, and Andrea responded very quickly and made it happen. Thanks, Andrea!

(And thanks MSA for making me aware of this box, although you’re *killing* my budget. I’m afraid to tally up what I’me spending on boxes lately….)

  2. This looks like a lovely box. Looking forward to reading future reviews.

  3. Probably wouldn’t purchase for myself – but as a daily tea drinker would love to recieve this as a gift!

  4. Super cute! I’ve been interested in different tea boxes, and this looks like one of the better ones. I can’t wait to see what future boxes contain!
