Lip Factory Beauty Subscription Box Review – October 2014
Lip Factory is a monthly full-size makeup subscription box. They tend to send a variety of drugstore and mid-tier makeup, and the value seems to always be at least double the cost of the box. (Extra good news – they ship worldwide!)
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Subscription Box: Lip Factory
The Cost: $22 a month
The Products: Full sized makeup and beauty products.
Ships to: US, Canada (extra $4), and International (extra $10)
Each box comes with a folded card detailing the items included for that month.
deVine Lip Shimmers Set – Value $9
OFRA Eyeliner in Grapefruit – Value $13
I’ve been wanting to try these deVine lip shimmers after seeing them pop up in a few subscription boxes, and I’m a fan! It’s a very moisturizing lip balm, but any shimmer or color is VERY subtle.
I’ll be swapping this eyeliner though – there is a limit to how many blue eyeliners a girl needs!
Michael Marcus Lipstick in Desire – Value $24
Reserves 29 Lipstick in Sparkling Shiraz – Value $25
The Reserve 29 Lipstick isn’t listed on the card, so I’m not sure if this extra item will vary box-to-box. The formula of this lipstick is very moisturizing, but the color was a little too bold for me.
Frost Makeup Bag – Value $11
Frost Cosmetics Lip Gloss & Lip Stick – Value $16
This gloss/stick formula goes on pretty thick and it has major shimmer and pigment. It also has impressive staying power. I think it is a great product if you are going for a full-makeup look.
Verdict: I’m happy with the value this month – $98 worth of products for $22! I don’t need any more makeup bags, but besides that I’m good with all the items too. What did you think of Lip Factory this month?
