Infinity Crates is a geeky subscription box from the UK. They ship Internationally and promise one shirt and one POP Funko in every box, so we decided to sign up and give it a try!

Infinity Crates Subscription Box Review - September 2014 Destiny

This month’s theme I guess is Destiny – but there is no info on the back of this card…and I don’t think there is much in this box that is Destiny themed either.

Infinity Crates Subscription Box Review - September 2014 Shirt

Rocket Raccoon T-Shirt – Value $15

I think my husband is starting to hit his limit on geek-themed shirt thanks to all these boxes, but he was happy with this shirt!

Infinity Crates Subscription Box Review - September 2014 Star Wars

Funko POP Vinyl Luke Skywalker (X-Wing Pilot) – Value $11

This arrived just in time to add to our friend’s birthday gift!

Infinity Crates Subscription Box Review - September 2014 Darth

Darth Candy Tin – Value $3

Plastic Bead Keyring – Value ?

Iron Man Minion USB – Value $17

This keychain craft thing is confusing me. (I remember making these things in my childhood and it seems weird to get a a handmade item in this box. I wish it came with an info sheet so I could get a little more background on why it was included). The Iron Man Minion is pretty fun though!

Infinity Crates Subscription Box Review - September 2014 Poster

Captain America Poster – Value $5?

Verdict: I really like that they send a Funko POP Vinyl and a t-shirt in every box, but I wish there was an info card included so I could get a better sense of why each item was included. Looking at some #infinitycrates Instagram pictures it looks like there is a lot of variation with each item, so maybe that’s why there is no info card – it’s pretty random.

We paid $42 to get this box to the US, so I knew that the value probably wouldn’t be great for us compared to UK subscribers. This box has a USD value of approx $50, so I’m still happy with the value and I love getting boxes from overseas. We’ll definitely stick around for another box or two!

What do you think of Infinity Crates?

  1. Hey Liz! Thank you so much for doing a review, we really appreciate it! As we do variations in our box based on cusrtomer interests and there are often deeper meanings in the films/tv shows/games, we use our Tumblr page to explain our choices (Youtube in the future).

    This can be found at

  2. I’m glad to see an international box that ships to the US. Are there any UK or European beauty boxes that ship to the US?

  3. I think the plastic key chain is supposed to be the Destiny logo. My boyfriend has the game and I’m pretty sure the cover shows that same design. I’m assuming that it goes with that random “information” card.

    • My boyfriend has been playing this game non-stop so yes, you’re right. This is the logo. Seems odd though that it looks hand made. A lot of hype was surrounding Destiny because it’s the first of it’s kind. An first person shooter game in an open world setting a la World of Warcraft. (I should not know as much as I do. Lol.) You would think they would have SOME swag from the game they could have included.

      • I agree that they could’ve added more items. I know there was major hype around the game and a lot of people waited in line to get their copy (like my significant other).

I feel your pain though. I’ve definitely spent a few hours trying to read in the same room as an intense Destiny battle. I’m sure you have too 🙂

  4. The key chain looks like a spaceship made from Perler beads. If you’re not familiar with them, they are tiny plastic beads that you make designs with on a kind of pegged plastic mold. Then you cover it with parchment paper and iron them till it melts and the beads stick together. Yes I have a 9 year old and we have millions of perler beads going at the same time. In fact I currently have some minions in need of ironing!
