Helene Jewelry Arm Party Subscription Box Review - October 2014 Bracelet

Reversible Madeline Bracelet in Emerald and Peridot

Wish Bracelet

This bracelet is made with reversible beads, and has enough weight to it to feel like a nice quality but not too heavy to get in the way. You can browse Helene Jewelry’s selection here, but I couldn’t find this specific bracelet for a value estimate.

Also included was a wishing bracelet, which I think is sweet. If you’re not familiar with wishing bracelets, they’re simple, string bracelets that you’re supposed to wish upon when you tie them and they eventually wear down and break apart. When they break is supposed to be when your wish will come true!

Verdict: This was my first box from Helene Jewelry Arm Party. I like the bracelet they sent, but I don’t think I’d classify it as “Professional/Conervative.” I definitely think you have to be someone who wears a lot of bracelets to specifically want a specifically bracelet-only subscription. I also personally feel some hesitation about subscriptions that only include one item (like putting all your eggs in one basket), but if you love bracelets or are gifting it to someone who does, I think you’re set!

What do you think about Helene Jewelry Arm Party?

OMG! Ugliest bracelet ever! And definitely not professional.

I noticed that the box came from Austin, TX. If that’s the case, then this bracelet is conservative. It’s not funky, the design is classic, and it’s pretty.

The bracelet is pretty, but not one I would wear in my last office job. Is it more dainty than it looks? What I’ve been doing the last 6 years is much different so maybe that is a conservative piece in the workplace.

Oooh I LOVE that bracelet!!! Maybe better than any jewelry item I have ever seen reviewed from any company!!!

My concerns w/ the sub would be:
1- Can you return if you don’t like that month?
2- Are they going to have ridiculously overinflated “values” (like C&C) so that you’re really getting a $20 piece each month?
3- Do you give your wrist size??

If I could have that bracelet I would sub now!

Hmmm… looked at their site. The 2 things I would never classify my style as are professional and conservative – yet the 2 bracelets I liked most in their ‘example’ pictures were the professional and the conservative! Hmmm. I do not think those words mean what they think they mean.

Or… I am beyond old / out of touch…..

I am really surprised they only send bracelets. I just looked at their site and they have really pretty earrings too so I think it would be great if you could mix up what you receive.

I do wear a lot of bracelets — they work with my wardrobe better than the statement necklaces a lot of subs send out. So I probably would like this, one day when I have the money.

But yeah, not conservative at all (not a problem for me, I like bold colors).

I just noticed a coupon code on their site: SPECIAL OFFER: Save 15% on your first box with discount code “GLAM2014”

I agree with you completely.

I don’t and will never subscribe to a box that only has 1 item in it.

As far as conservative, to me they don’t look conservative at all. When I think of conservative I think of one toned items without a lot of color, or lighter colors such as a mauve, beige, black or white, or grey. – The bracelets do look fun! I like both of them. My issue with bracelets, is I have smaller then average wrists, so unless a specific size can be requested and received, they would be to big for me to wear.
