Citrus Lane Review & Coupon Code – October 2014
Citrus Lane is a subscription box for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. (They customize your box to your child’s age and gender). The box I’m reviewing today is for a 4 year old. (Gender neutral).
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Subscription Box: Citrus Lane
The Cost: $29 a month (or $24 a month with 3 month plan, $21 a month with 6 month plan)
COUPON: Use this coupon code NEWMOMDEAL to get your first box for 50% off, AND get a free Aden & Anasis Burby Bib set (Value $22).
The Products: The best products (Toys, books, snacks, etc.) catered to your child’s age.
Ships to: US and APO, DPO addresses.
Each box comes with a card detailing the items included for that month. They also include exclusive discount codes for all of the brands featured.
Janod Dominos – Value $16
I couldn’t find this exact set online, so I’m estimating the value based on other Janod sets. I love that the box for this set is a reusable little suitcase!
Hohner Kids Maracas – Value $7
These maracas are BPA free and quite the little noise makers – I almost feel bad about gifting them – the parents may not appreciate the gift!
Little Adventures Hero Cape -Value $17
I like that they included an item that could work for Halloween or anytime!
Annie’s Organic Cheddar Snack Mix – Value $.50
Verdict: Lately Citrus Lane has been sending out fewer items per box, and going for the quality over quantity approach. While I miss my “mom gifts,” I have no problem with this approach, but it also makes the box a little riskier if you don’t like one or more of the items. My box this month has a value of $40, and I’ll be able to gift everything, so I’m happy with it.
