Bluum Subscription Box Review & 50% Off Coupon – Oct 2014 Box

Bluum is a monthly subscription box for babies and toddlers. Their boxes are super customized – specific to the month of your child’s age! The box I’m reviewing is for a 25 month old.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Bluum Subscription Box Review & 50% Off Coupon – Oct 2014 Numbers

Melissa and Doug See Inside Peg Puzzle – Value $7

I received this puzzle before from Bluum box I believe, but I had to create a new account a few months ago, so I’ll forgive the overlap! (Plus it’s a great gift item so duplicates don’t really matter to me!)

Bluum Subscription Box Review & 50% Off Coupon – Oct 2014 Busy

Little Learners – Busy Day Press & Play Sound Book – Value $13

Another great gift item! (I’ve found that off all the baby boxes Bluum seems to send out the most books).

Bluum Subscription Box Review & 50% Off Coupon – Oct 2014 Whale

WOW Toys MiniWow – Ace the Race Car – Value $10

Gardner Publishing Bath Book – Whale  – Value $8

I couldn’t find this exact book online, so I’m going off the price Bluum provided. (Instead of sending a card in your box each month they send you an email with a list of all the products in your box).

Bluum Subscription Box Review & 50% Off Coupon – Oct 2014 Luna

Ellas Kitchen Fruit Smoothies – Value $1

Luna Protein Bar – Value $1

Bluum is pretty good about including a mom item in each box. Mostly it’s a bar or other food item, but occasionally I’ve gotten full-sized lotions, etc.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $40. I think the value is pretty good, and I’m happy with the box since almost all of the value is in gift-able items. What did you get from Bluum this month? What do you think of the subscription?

  1. I tried to order two boxes (I have twins) on Sunday, with the 50% off coupon. The only let me order one, and after checkout the confirmation email did not include the 50% off. I have since called and emailed them multiple times a day. The customer service phone number goes straight to a voicemail. After about 10 emails and 10 voicemails – nothing!! As in no return phone call, no return email. Nothing! How crazy is that? Any suggestions? Anyone else have this problem? I am not sure what to do at this point – I guess I can just call my credit card company?

  2. I received my 18 month old box today after receiving 2 notices via email that the box would be delayed. Overall, I am not happy with my box. I was so excited too because I’ve seen many of the 18 month box reviews online and we did not get any of those items. The box’s value was $30. It included a $5 lip tint for me and a $3 organic lip butter for baby. Got 2 snack cups, the ACE race car, and the Ella’s smoothie fruit. Also, the card that came in the box had no description of my items. It looks like they ran out of the usual 18 month old box they send and threw together this random box for us.

    • We got a 20 month old boy box that was like that too. Total value was $31. The ace racer, two different snack containers, makeup wipes, and an Ella squeeze pack. This was our first experience with Bluum and I will not be returning. We have done Citrus Lane in the past and will stick with them – much better value for the money. I was very disappointed as I too saw some great boxes reviewed.

  3. Can you sign up month per month. Or if you are not happy with this sub, can you cancel? I am thinking about subbing for Christmas presents.
