Unbound Adult Subscription Box Review & Coupon - August 2014 Submission

Maison Close La Petite Secret Lingerie Cupless Elastic Band Bra – value: $18

The Big Book of Submission: 69 Kinky Tales – value: ~$15

Unbound selected this lingerie to address the debate of whether to keep lingerie on or take it off, and I honestly love that it’s a size-less item that can work for women of any size and shape of body! I also think it’s something that is simple enough to be an easy and unintimidating way to try something new.

Unbound Adult Subscription Box Review & Coupon - August 2014 Candle

Babeland Massage Candle in Honey Almond – 3 oz, value: $16

Sustain Ultra Thin Condoms – 3 pack, value: $5.99

Unbound Matches

I’m thrilled that Unbound makes an effort to feature ingredient-conscious items! This candle smells amazing and contains jojoba, coconut, and avocado oils, as well as vitamin E so it’s good for your skin, too.

Unbound Adult Subscription Box Review & Coupon - August 2014 Tassel

Maison Close La Petite Lecon – value: ~$11.50

The Verdict: Overall, I liked the curation of this month’s Unbound box. I probably won’t use absolutely everything, but I think it all comes together cohesively for the theme, and every item is something anybody can use. I’m also the biggest fan of the fact that they express a feministic and empowering attitude on their site and cards!

The value comes to just over $66, which basically breaks even with the cost of the box. One other thing I want to point out is that, based off of other reviews online and the information on their website, I was definitely expecting a toy of some sort to be included. I’d definitely love to see future boxes, though – I’m hoping this month maybe included more niche items than usual.

What do you think of this Unbound box? Have you tried any adult boxes before?

As I’m single it was tricky finding an adult box that didn’t just cater to couples! I think Unbound hits the mark. Sure, they include some items that are usually used with partners but I love that they even make little notes on the cards about how you can use the candle on yourself if you prefer. No pressure at all!

The little toys and gifts … it’s just delightful. But yes, the price tag is high and no, you aren’t going to be getting an amazing deal with this package, so for me it’s a monthly gift to remind myself that this aspect of my personality is still important! Love yourself!

I always love my Unbound box. I like that most items in their boxes can be used solo or with a partner. And, as the review above states, I too like that some items are ingredient-conscious. The staff at Unbound are always responsive on both Twitter and by email. I have been subscribing since their early on in their existence and plan to be a subscriber for a long time.

I love Unbound. I find they are very innovative in their themes and selections. They include items that are new or not often found in stores. Best of all, the items are of high quality. I have tried a number of adult boxes, and Unbound is by far my favorite.

This type of box would interest me, however for that type of price I’d need the value to be higher! One unused item in the box would make me think it’s not a good value.

Thank you for reviewing! It’s helpful in deciding what boxes to try out. I think you also posted about The Fantasy Box which I bought as a result of reading the review.
