Mantry Subscription Box Review & $25 Coupon – Sept 2014
Mantry is a subscription box that describes itself as “the modern man’s pantry.” Each month they ship your gourmet food in their signature wooden crate.
Mantry sent me this box to review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Subscription Box: Mantry
The Cost: $75
COUPON: Use this link to save $25 off your first box!
The Products: The Modern Man’s Pantry: a Food of the Month Club that helps you discover American artisan food.
Ships to: US only.
Each box comes with a fold out card detailing each of the producers behind the food included and where they come from. This month’s theme is Euro Trip!
We’ve tried Nonna’s sauces before thanks to subscription boxes and they are delicious. I can’t wait to try this Roasted Eggplant version! And I’m very intrigued by this Absinthe vinaigrette – if you’ve tried it let me know what you think of it!
Aux Delices des Bois Pancetta – Value $8?
My husband ate this sausage the day Mantry arrived and gave me this feedback for the review, “A+.” We haven’t tried the Pancetta yet, but I’m guessing it will be even better than the prechopped version I buy at Trader Joes!
Rip van Wafels – Value $10
Sfoglini Pasta Shop Everything Bagel Fusilli – Value $8
We’ve sampled both of these brands before and my husband loves them both. The Everything Bagel flavor is new to us though – I need to figure out what to pair it with!
Verdict: This box has a value of about $50. As always, the value isn’t where I’d like it to be, but I am very impressed with the curation of the products. Everything is gourmet-quality and delicious.
