The Boodle Box Subscription Box Review - August 2014 Card

Every Boodle Box comes with an information card, detailing the included items for that month.

The Boodle Box Subscription Box Review - August 2014 Cupcake

Good Earth Beauty Cupcake Wipes – 10 mini wipes, value: $2.75

NPW Gifts Naughty But Nice Cupcake Hand Cream - .61 fl oz, value: $9.99

This hand cream definitely smells like cupcakes and these are such cute gifts to pair together!

The Boodle Box Subscription Box Review - August 2014 Strawberries

Hard Candy Kaleyedoscope Baked Eye Shadow Duo in “Daydream” – value: $6

Strawberry Sponge Sleep-In Curlers – 6-pack, value: $8.59

I don’t know how many pre-teen girls use sleep curlers these days, but these curlers are actually really cute – especially in the photos of them being used on Strawberry Curls’s website.

The Boodle Box Subscription Box Review - August 2014 Keychain

Neon Beaded Bracelets with Rhinestones – value: $24 (for the set of 4)

Gama Go Cupcake Key Cover – value: $1.16

Marina’s Closet Lilly Fabric Keychain – value: $6

Please note that they didn’t list where to find these specific bracelets on Etsy, so I just linked to a very similar item listing. They are definitely true neon and I can tell they’d light up under black lights. Also, they’re really well made – the beads feel almost rubberized and the elastic string feels pretty strong, too.

I think this keychain/key cap set is my favorite item in this box. I love how cute they are and even if I don’t end up using them myself, I know my little sister-in-law will love them!

Verdict: I love this Boodle Box – I think all the items go together very cohesively and everything seems to be well made/packaged. This whole box feels like a little gift basket, which I think makes it a success. As far as value goes, everything adds up to about $58.50! Anytime a box is more than double the cost, I’m happy!

What do you think of this month’s Boodle Box? Do you think a girl in your life would love something like this?

This box is adorable! It’s much nicer than the sub I had for my youngest daughter (almost 10) from CandiGirl by Lip Factory (it went offline for a revamp and this sub really ups the ante for a relaunch!). The quality and theme are much better comparatively speaking. I can see these items actually being used versus opened and tossed into a corner of the bedroom.

Love love love!
Think I may subscribe to this to pick up random gifts for my nieces and neighbors.

My 9 and 12 year olds both love using sleep curlers! Having long, straight hair, they love waking up with curls and waves.

I reviewed the Boodle Box 1 for ages 5-10 this month and it was perfect for my 8 year old.
