This month the destination from the Passport Collection is Barcelona.

Square Hue Nail Polish Subscription Box Review - July 2014 Pink

These shades are both micro-shimmers. The orange is probably a little too bold for my nail polish color preferences, but I think I can pull off the pink shade!

This polish is a shimmer with beautiful bronze metallic undertones.

Verdict: If you are looking for a few new shades each month, I think Square Hue does a great job at curating their colors, I like the formula, and I also really like that they donate a portion of their profits to charity.

What do you think of the July Square Hue colors?

  1. I liked the color choices this month in comparison to last month. They did chip very easily though, even with using my trusty formula x. I have not tried the Orange yet.

  2. I loved the colors this month! The pink included in the July box is one of my favorite polishes ever. I’m wearing it on my fingers now, and the orange on my toes. The formulas are great, with 2 coats giving full coverage. I agree with the other commenter that the purple may be a little to dark for summer, but it will be gorgeous in the fall. Great job, SquareHue!

I had been a member of Julep for a while, but then discovered this brand. While I still love my Julep polishes, I just felt like I got more for my money out of the SquareHue box. The SquareHue polishes are full size bottles (0.5 oz) while the Julep polishes are about half that size (0.27 oz).

  3. I love this month’s color choices. Beautiful and bright for the summer – I have the pink on my toes and I love the formula and rich color. I love the purple but think maybe its dark for summer. I haven’t tried the orange yet, but I can’t wait.
