One awesome thing of this month’s box is that they are donating 2 meals per box to hungry children across the US instead of just one, thanks to partnering up with the brand 2 Degrees.

Love With Food always includes lots of informative cards and coupons for the brands featured that month. This month, they also sent out another $40 off coupon for your first box of Hello, Fresh!

Love With Food Subscription Box Review & Coupon – July 2014 Lentil

Mediterranean Snacks Sea Salt Lentil Crackers –.75 oz, value: $1.30

Beanitos Puffs in White Cheddar –.7 oz, value: $.62

You’ll love these Beanitos Puffs if you really like white cheddar – they were super cheesy! Also, these Sea Salt Lentil Crackers are my favorite item in this box. They are a really great, naturally gluten-free alternative for a savory, crunchy snack.

Love With Food Subscription Box Review & Coupon – July 2014 Minis

2 Degrees Apple Pecan Food Bar  - 1.6 oz, value: $.95

Buttercrisp Love GinnyMini Cookies – 1.25 oz, value: $1.62

ZOUQ Golden Lentils – 1 oz, value: $1.44

I always get excited about gluten-free cookies, especially because I know they’re hard to get just right (but when they are, they’re wonderful). Unfortunately, these Ginnymini cookies were really quite crunchy and hard to chew.

These Golden Lentils were crunchy, salty, and fun to eat! I think they’re my second-favorite item in the box. You can tell a lot of people must have loved them, too, because they’re sold out in Love With Food’s shop.

Love With Food Subscription Box Review & Coupon – July 2014 Snacks

Madyson’s Marshmallows Chocolate Chip Square Puff – 1 puff, value: $1.25

Dutch Cocoa Somersaults - .5 oz, value: $.75

Honey Stinger Kids’ Organic Chews in Mixed Berry Flavor - .8 oz, value: $1.25

I love gourmet marshmallows so much that they were the favors at my wedding! This marshmallow puff was delicious – I ate it right after taking photos!

The Verdict: I loved this month’s Love With Food box. The two lentil snacks were my favorite, and I plan to order more. The value this month adds up to $9.18. I like to point out in my Love With Food reviews that the goal of these boxes is about a great curation that introduces you to brands and products you wouldn’t have tried on your own more than giving you a high value of products in each box. I almost always find something every month that I love enough to order full-size, so I definitely think they meet that goal.

What did you think of this month’s Love With Food box? If you subscribe, what was yoru favorite snack?

The marshmallow I got tasted like the plastic it was packaged in. I couldn’t take another bite of it after being so disgusted! I don’t know if I got a bad one or a stale one but I wish I knew what it really tasted like because everyone is ravening about it!

I really want to try this box. The review sound terrific and I am looking forward to a coupon so that I can give it a try. My husband and I like alternative snacks (non-preservative type snacks 🙂 )

Love With Food was one of my first sub boxes and I love it! I’ve gone back and forth between the tasting box and the deluxe box (depending on how much I was spending on other boxes at the time!) and I think both are great! I’ve gotten several friends at work to sign up just by taking my yummy snacks to work. 🙂

Do you know if you save 10 using the link if you want the deluxe box?

I believe you should get the $10 discount on either box.

While I agree that the GinnyMinis cookies were a bit crunchier than expected, they were absolutely delicious, especially after a quick dunk in coffee.
I haven’t yet tried everything from this box (it came the same day as my UrthBox, so I’ve had to pace myself). I know that I need to drop a few of my subscription boxes, when I think about canceling Love With Food, I just want to upgrade to the Deluxe Box!

My favorite item on the July box was the Somersaults dutch cocoa and sunflower seeds snack. So tasty. Also, one of the many, many things I love about Love With Food is that they ship everything in one box without any unnecessary packaging. Last month we ordered 3 different items and received everything in one cardboard box. Think of all the paper, cardboard, and plastic they’re not using!

The marshmallow was my favorite– the Beanitos Cheddar Puffs were strange for me– they left a weird aftertaste. I get the Deluxe Box so I got 2 Beanitos bags…

This was my first box and I was able to get it for $2 through your website (Thanks Liz). I really enjoyed the box. I’m always looking for snacks for work so this box came in handy. I actually upgraded to the deluxe box so I could share with my husband and the plus side on that is that they donate 2 meals for the deluxe box.
I wasn’t a huge fan of the golden lentils. I didn’t like the sweet part of the snack. It just tasted funny to me. I devoured the marshmallow though.

I thought the cookies were really hard as well. I left them slightly open overnight to get a little stale. They were delicious the next day! Sad way to make them edible, though!
