Wantable Accessories Subscription Box Review – June 2014

Wantable Accessories Subscription Box Review - June

Wantable Accessories is one of the three Wantable subscription options. Each month they typically send you three items in categories like jewelry, scarves, sunglasses, etc. You can heavily customize this box by picking out which categories of items you want, and what styles and materials you prefer. (Lately I’ve been requesting only scarves and hair accessories – it is probably time for me to mix it up a bit!)

Wantable kindly sent me the June box to review.

Wantable Accessories Subscription Box Review - June 2014 Info

Here are the categories I picked out. You must pick at least two categories for your likes or loves. You will never get any items on your dislike list.

Wantable Accessories Subscription Box Review - June 2014 Headbands

Trista Headband – Value $12

Bonnie Headband – Value $11

The headband on the left is the wrapped wire style. I personally can’t rock the retro look with the tie at the top of my head, but I started wearing these headbands with the tie by my neck under my hair instead and they work great. (Plus I love the print of this headband!)

The white and gold-chain headband isn’t working for me though. It has a bit of an 80’s vibe, and up close kind of looks cheap.

Wantable Accessories Subscription Box Review - June 2014 Scarf

Zuzu Scarf – Value $24

I love circle scarves, so this one is a win for me. I like the two different fabrics too. I tried it on first and was pleased, then I tried on the next scarf and was blown away:

Wantable Accessories Subscription Box Review - June 2014 Blue Scarf

Bella Blue Scarf -Value $24

My dream summer scarf! It’s super soft, lightweight, and a little sheer. It also has the perfect circle scarf length in my opinion. (I have way too many opinions about circle scarves!)

I think I’ll be living in this scarf this summer!

Verdict: 3 out of 4 items I’ll wear a lot is a win for me. (If you don’t like your items you can always return them to Wantable at no cost, but you have to return everything). I’m very happy with the selections this month, but I think I’ll revisit my profile survey, and change my category preferences for the July box.

Do you subscribe to the Wantable Accessories box? What did you get for June?

  1. That blue scarf is gorgeous!

  2. I just realized that’s for the intimates box, but I assume it’s the same for all 3 boxes.

  3. You have to return it all unless they make a mistake like sending the wrong size that was their error. Still a good deal. I’ve gotten about 8 or so Intimates boxes.

  4. I thought you could return less than the whole box to wantable as long as you hit their minimum limit?

    • You can return a parcial box as long as it meets a minium. They have a formula and have a thing on their site so you can see what you can send back and still get a bit of a refund. Overall it’s best just to keep it all or send it all back. I wanted to exchange the $36 bra I got, but they don’t do exchanges. So I could return the bra and a pair of $12 socks and get refunded $9 towards my box. That left me with a $16 pair of undies and a $12 pair of socks for $27 (the price of the box after the $9 ajustment). Not really worth it. Sorry, spell check doesn’t seem to be working.

      • Yup, they really do weird stuff with partial returns. My last box had a defective pajama set in it (irregular neckline) and while I was okay with the rest if the items, I wasn’t in love with them so I just returned it all.
