Each box includes informational cards detailing the theme and products for the month. This month’s theme is “Make Your Own Sunshine.”

iBBeautiful Subscription Box Review - June 2014 scarf

Green Summer Scarf – value: $22

I like this scarf a lot, but I think $22 is a high value for it – it’s not as soft as I’d expect other scarves in the same price point to be. However, I love the color and know that I will wear it! They recommend styling it with a classic white tee and jeans.

iBBeautiful Subscription Box Review - June 2014 notebook

“Idea.” Notebook + Pen - $12

This is a cute notebook – they included to be an official “Bucket List Keeper,” as well as added a summer bucket list example card.

iBBeautiful Subscription Box Review - June 2014 lotion

SBG Soap Peppermint Fluff Body Butter – size: 2 oz value: $8?

Ribbon Bow Anklet - $10

I’m honestly a little confused about how they got their $8 value on this 2 oz jar of Body Butter Lotion – on SunBasilGarden’s Etsy shop, a 4 oz jar is priced at $7. Based on the maker’s shop prices, the real value should be somewhere around $3.50. Regardless, this scent is actually really nice. It’s got peppermint, but also some floral scents, topped with marshmallow. It’s definitely a younger scent – perfect for their tween/teen target demographic!

“I Make My Own Sunshine” graphic tee – value: $10

The Verdict: Even with my adjusted ($3.50) value for the body butter, the total estimated value for this month’s iBBeautiful box is about $57.50, and it costs $28. I’m definitely happy with that value. My favorite thing about this box is its vision to encourage and empower tween and teen girls to be confident and happy being exactly who they naturally are! It’s a great message, and I know I definitely would have loved a box like this when I was younger.

What do you think of the iBBeautiful box? Do you have a daughter or niece that you think would love it?

Anyone know if they use UPS or USPS to shop these? I wanted to gift a subscription, and my daughter needs to use a different address if UPS. Emailed them this afternoon and haven’t heard back yet….kind of wanted to get the order in for her.

My tween loves getting this box each month, and her favorite item from this box was the scarf. She wore it to school three times the first week she got it, and all her friends thought it was awesome, too. This is a great box for tweens–good themes and a fun mix of accessories and beauty products.

I don’t associate with this scarf with teens. I think of glittery items, and other stuff. Even though my teen years are now considered ( vintage )- LOL! I like this box. I’d get it without the t-shirt. I do want to wait a few more months to see if the value gets a little bit better and stays consistant. The value on the cream seems off to me … it seems like it was a mistake. I looked up: SBG Soap Peppermint Fluff Body Butter on Etsy, I think I’m going to get a few of their products 🙂 They have a “LEMON PIE Whipped Soap” and a “LILAC Body Butter ” that sound nice. —

Teens these days are more fashion forward lol I volunteered at a middle school and it’s amazing how much has changed in the way they present themselves with clothing and makeup. I didn’t even start wearing makeup til high school let along getting dressed up for school lol

Hmm. This could be a great gift for my niece’s birthday in a few months. I’m interested to see what’s in the next few boxes!
