Hazel Lane Subscription Box Review - June 2014 Portland

This month’s box is from Portland, Oregon! Each Hazel Lane box comes with a card detailing each product inside the month’s box – I love that they make them look like boarding passes.

Hazel Lane Subscription Box Review - June 2014 Spoon Rest

Pigeon Toe Spoon Rest – value: $20

I adore the simple, clean design of this spoon rest. However, I’m really glad the informational card also recommended using it as a catch-all for rings, jewelry, baubles, change, etc., because I already have a spoon rest, and this will look lovely on my vanity!

Frankie & Coco Tribal Neon Bag – value: $16

Shark Bottle Opener Keychain by Berkley Illustration – value: $6

I couldn’t find this specific print in Frankie & Coco’s shop, but they have some amazing other designs in their shop, so I linked to my favorite one in their shop! I can never have too many little bags like this.

Hazel Lane Subscription Box Review - June 2014 Notebook

33 Bottles of Wine Pocket Notebook – value: $4

Coava Coffee Las Capucas – 3 oz, value: $4.77

Coffee will always be a win for me since I’m quite addicted, so I was very excited to see this Coava coffee in this month’s box! It smells amazing and was roasted on June 10th, so I know it is super fresh.

This pocket notebook is adorable, and just my style. Here’s what the pages look like (alongside the bottom side of the bottle opener):

The Verdict: My favorite thing about Hazel Lane is that everything they choose is so cute and quality that, if there’s ever anything I won’t use myself, I know I can gift it to a friend! The value this month totaled up to $50.77, and the box costs $39 plus $5 shipping, so I’m happy with that value. I also have to mention that their customer service is really great to work with, and always helpful.

This month, I’m probably most excited about trying the coffee! Which item do you like best from Hazel Lane’s June Portland box? Which city do you think they should feature next?

I just received my box today… it was so sweet to have the owners write me a hand-written letter with my box! I ordered the monthly box and received “Portland.” I had also ordered a crystal necklace separately. Everything was packaged so nicely. My husband and I will not use the wine booklet or bottle-opener as neither of us drink; however, I love the spoon rest, the coffee, and the bag very much. I am SO looking forward to my next box… The customer service is truly outstanding!
