Fancy Food Subscription Box Review – June 2014
The Fancy Food Box is one of the original Fancy subscription boxes. Every month they send full size gourmet food items, and usually a kitchen item. Fancy kindly sent me this box to review.
The Subscription Box: Fancy Food Box
The Cost: $39 a month plus shipping
The Products: Gourmet and specialty food and snacks.
Each Fancy Food box comes with a card detailing each item included, and some recipe ideas. This month’s theme is new takes on BBQ classics: condiments, drinks and candies.
Sir Kensington’s Mustard – Value $6
Sir Kensington’s Ketchup – Value $7
We’ve received Sir Kensington’s products in subscription boxes before and they’re great, so these are going to be a welcome addition to our next cook out!
Quince Apple Tart Cherry Grenadine – Value $13
Webster Hot & Sweet Bread & Butter Pickles – Value $10
Normally grenadine has artificial red dye in it, so I was happy to see this one is just made with cherries and sugar. It’s going on the bar!
Quin Twizzlie Rolls – Value $6
Quin Dreams Come Chew – Value $12
These twizzle rolls are a mix of chocolate and coffee – aka delicious and completely addictive!
Verdict: This month’s Fancy Food box has a value of about $54. I’m happy with the value considering that every item is an actual food item. Plus I love the BBQ theme!
